It isn’t surprising that our lives are being surrounded by technology. Technology is essential to everyone because without the use of technology, we will feel like we are isolated from the society. However, overuse of the technology will affect the social skill of youths.

From the article, I know that technology have some negative impact on us. The first negative influence is it separates us from the reality. Youths are becoming selfish. They are not concerned about the current events and this is one of the reasons why many robberies have happened around us. What they concern are only about the technology gadgets. Some of the youths may feel uncomfortable and anxious when they realize the smartphone is not with them. Beside the smartphones, MP3 players are the second most often used by youths. They are commonly seen with earphones in public nowadays. Yes, teenagers are enjoying listen to music but in the same time, they are also disconnecting with the public. All these communication applications are very convenient because the user can send their messages every time at everywhere as long as there have a connection to WiFi. Through the social media, they actually can get to know many new friends that come from difference countries. Social media helps youths to form friendships online but also will cause trouble for teenagers.
