As a token of thanks to all developers who had helped me start on this beautiful journey, I released the app as opensource. I was pleasantly surprised when my app was featured on XDA-Developer (an online developer’s community having more than 6.8 million members) and within 24 hours, it was downloaded 10,000 times. This boosted my confidence and reaffirmed my faith that I was making a difference through my work. I went further and started developing apps for clients as a freelancer. Now I boast a clientele of companies like DroidKitchen, JRummy Apps and many more.

Even Stone Age people used technology in the form of stone tools and the mastery of fire. People two thousand years ago were using screws, levers, pumps, and wheels, all technologies which helped them in their daily lives. Good technology helps us to live our lives with greater convenience. Some technologies can have a very positive effect, but the reverse is also true: we can allow our tools to control our lives, such as letting e-mails or SMS interrupt our sleep, allowing computers to monitor our private lives, or watch helplessly as nuclear plant meltdowns irradiate the planet, there are choices we must make so that technology is a comfort rather than a burden.
