Charles Darwin's theory of evolution is the best evolutionary theory of history. But Charles Darwin was not always an Evolutionist, he use to be religious. His wife was a religious woman but didn’t support the idea of him becoming an evolutionist. Do you ever wonder what changed Charles Darwin’s mind about being religious?

Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, England, on February 12 in the year of 1809. In 1831 he embarked on a five-year survey voyage around the world on the HMS Beagle. He was a naturalist and biologist known for his theory of evolution. In 1859 he published a book “On the Origin of Species”.

Darwin's theory of evolution and natural selection, declared that species survived through a process called,” natural selection”. This all started when Darwin notices similarities among the species all over the globe. One of those species were called the Finch. He came from a long line of doctors and scientist. Darwin’s father Dr.R.W Darwin was medical doctor, and Dr. Erasmus Darwin , his grandfather was renowned botanist.These are some of his other family members, Josiah Wedgwood and Thomas Wedgwood. Darwin’s mother, Susanna died when he was just 8 years old. On January 29, 1839, Darwin chose to marry his cousin Emma Wedgwood. Together they had 10 children. Three of them died at a young age.

Darwin’s education, started in the year of 1825 in october. At the age 16, Darwin enrolled at Edinburgh University. Two years later he went to Christ’s College in Cambridge. His father hoped that Darwin would follow in his footsteps to become a medical doctor. But the sight of blood made Darwin queasy. Darwin’s father suggested that he study to become a parson.
