He had no common sense, and he had no business going into Alaska with his Romantic silliness. He made a lot of mistakes based on arrogance. I don’t admire him at all for his courage nor his noble ideas. Really, I think he was just plain crazy,” shows that Shaun believes Chris had no common sense in his doing for leaving society for the wild. I agree with Callarman’s position of thinking “ he had no common sense” and that he was “bright and Ignorant” because Chris thinks he did not have much to offer in his society, ditched all his possessions to take a trip into the Alaskan Wilderness and did not have much common sense or survival skills.
Chris McCandless is a reckless narcissist whose own hubris got him killed in a ridiculous attempt to survive in the Alaskan wilderness. In his deplorable attempt to run away from his personal life, McCandless went without any basic survival gear or knowledge, and got himself killed. Some may argue that McCandless was courageous, even though that is somewhat true, it's outweighed by his recklessness. Chris McCandless so that he didn't even consider the effects his actions would have anyone else, which perfectly
Leaving Doodle outside in a storm while he just ran off is irresponsible. Brother shouldn’t have gotten mad at Doodle because Doodle didn’t do what he was asked to. By doing that, Doodle got scared and chased after him which made him overheat and die. Doodle should have stood up for himself.
Many people may feel corrupt or threatened by the government and may want to disappear from the system. A young man managed to get away, however did not accomplish it on good terms. Chris McCandless was the name of the nonconformist. He wanted to go into the wild with no technology and nothing that would connect him with society. Emotions like this led to the deaths in Salem. Fear leaves us afraid and frightened. Fear is unpleasant and it is only “human nature” to want to get rid of the feeling. When the identity of the horseman was revealed, my first reaction was surprised because I realize that Druse kills his own father and I understood why every kinds of war are destructive for family relationships. McCunn was careless he didn’t remember to get a way out of the arctic for winter time, he died painfully. It was a life lesson to pay attention to the signs around you. To be safe rather than sorry, McCunn to me was stupid, he threw away shotgun shells just because he thought he could, he didn’t pay attention to his surrounding, he didn’t even know how to signal help. He never helped himself so no one could help him, this was similar to McCandles. Alex had limited supplies, he stopped all contact with the people who knew of him.

The boy had been distracted and had a lapse in his judgment.

McCandless is neither wise nor foolish, for he has both qualities. Chris McCandless was a foolish person but he was wise in other aspects.
