Analyze our Organization (Coca-Cola) After analyzing ourselves and our environment we need to examine resources, production, liabilities, abilities and capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses etc of Coca-Cola Company. A SWOT analysis is a great tool to reveal, that what we can do well and where we have weaknesses. It becomes easier to achieve our goals and objectives when the strategy uses our strengths without revealing our weaknesses. Also we should look at our core competencies. These highlight our exclusive strengths, and help to think about how we can set ourselves away from the competitors.
According to Rogers, people need to feel, experience and behave in ways which are consistent with their self-image and which reflect what they would like to be like, their ideal-self (Saul McLeod 2014). The closer their self-image and ideal-self are to each other, the more consistent or congruent they are. For Carl Rogers, a person who has high self-worth has positive feelings and confidence about him or herself (Saul McLeod 2014). They confront challenges in life, accept failure and unhappiness at times, and is open with people. Rogers believed feelings of self-worth developed when interaction with others.
Coca-Cola does an excellent job addressing every aspect of its stakeholders with its vision statement. For example, employees are interested in having a career where they are inspired to work. Another example is the company’s vision to profit correlates to shareowners’ want to see profits. As far as the vision statement goes, there is not much that can be done to improve it. While the business’s values may not directly connect with some of the stakeholders’ interest, it does impact one specific stakeholder.
