These include schedules for each year of school, finding and applying for scholarships, and finally getting into college. My school counselor has done a lot to help me through these obstacles and barriers. First and foremost, my school counselor has helped me overcome my schedules over the course of the four years at Marinette High School. I am a very organized person and because
I’ve been a part of Best Buddies for 3 years now. Best Buddies a program that pairs up special needs students in the school with a peer buddy. As a peer buddy my goal is to ensure that the student I’ve been paired up with feels included in the school community by visiting them at least once a week and going to various trips with them. Quite simply put, the goal is to pair up long lasting friends that stand together to fight the stigma against mental health. Additionally, a teacher and I formed RESPECT 2 years ago and I have been the co-founder and president of it ever since.
Being an athlete in college is such a great experience and I’m sure I will reflect upon it later in life and remember all the great times I have had so far and will have in the next few years. That opportunity has really made me a different, and I think better person. Also, receiving great awards and recognitions like All-State Rifle team 3 years in a row in my home state of Connecticut and numerous awards at the state level has also influenced who I am as a person. That and traveling across the country for National level matches has really shown me many different places and allowed me to be responsible to myself to an extent. It is both exciting but humbling to get to see all these other

As long as I can remember, I knew that college was going to be part of my future. That is because I always knew what my family expected out of me. College is not only important to me for the reason of making my parents proud, but for making sure that I create more out of myself, as well. With a higher education, I will have more job opportunities available, potentially be able to earn higher income, and obtain more useful life skills than somebody who does not have a college education. To begin, having a college education under my belt is important to me because I will have more opportunities for a job, after I complete my four years.
Until I finally found my gift. My junior year I joined this club called DECA which prepares future entrepreneurs for finance, marketing, hospitality, and management in high school and in college. Students compete against other students in different categories. I decided to do DECA because I really liked all of the
In my junior year of high school, I did not think that the bags underneath my eyes could grow any darker. At the time, I was a member of Business Professionals of America, UIL, Student Council, SHAQ, and the National Honors Society. Not only this, but I was taking college courses, an AP course, and had friends and family to attend to. Every day was a new challenge for me. Although all of these comings and goings have a place in my heart, my biggest achievement was becoming class president and planning the 2015 prom.
I would like to recommend Jessica McCloe Brasch as a candidate for a position with your University. I met Mrs. Brasch when she was my Television Production teacher at Wissahickon High School. Throughout my three years as her student, she inspired and prepared me for the job I hold today. As an anchor and reporter at WENY News in Elmira, New York, Mrs. Brasch taught me life lessons about the evolving world of news and media. She was also an excellent adviser in preparing her students to excel in college media programs.
First, I would like to thank you for considering me for the position as a Family Attorney at your firm, I have spent several years of my life trying to prepare myself for this position. I believe that I would be the best fit for this job because of my educational background, work experience, and the passion I have for the job. During my time at Faulkner University I was at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. I was in the National Honor Society where I stood as President. During my time as president of the honor society I was able to receive an additional scholarship for outstanding leadership.
It gave me a glimpse of what I aspire to do in my future, which is to work in marketing for an organization that strives to make the world a better place, person by person. All of my involvement and experience with VING has been an indescribably rewarding experience by being able to give back and change the life of someone who has so greatly impacted mine. I believe that I grew as a person throughout this entire journey by being given the opportunity to display selflessness, gratitude, and spread love and encouragement. Seeing how this impacted Janaee so positively allowed my desire to give to others grow
This a scary thought if you really think about it, but taking the right steps, such as college will improve my odds tremendously. Working hard and staying on task may be a struggle at times, I must remember to push forward to achieve my goals and not to give up so easily. Maintaining satisfactory grades will be another must in my case, showing impressive work will only help me in the long run.
These two reasons are what ultimately motivated me to apply for this program. It is important to be focused and successful academically, but it is also important to be involved on your college campus. Involvement is key, and it can lead to many life-long friends, opportunities, and experiences. Since involvement is so important, it would be great to be involved in a program that caters to your own college experience directly. Most programs I work for have no relation to my major or my business school experience.
