I participated in the group activity in class, and there were many aspect from chapters nine and ten that related to the activity.
1. What were some of your goals (individual (task and social), group (task and social))?
The individual task goal I had was figuring out the three-word rhyming puzzle. The individual social goal I had was to get to know my group better and to have a good time.
2. How successful were you in achieving those goals? What helped you succeed? What prevented you from succeeding?
I was successful at achieving these goals because I did finish the puzzle in its entirety and also before the end of the activity. I also succeeded at my individual goal by learning my group members’ names and what they liked to do outside of class. Also I learned that one of my group members gets to school on a bike.
3. What roles did you take on (formal, functional, social, dysfunctional roles)?

A task role that I would say I had was the coordinator. I planned and organized what we were going to do and when we were going to do it. I also planned getting the sticky note and handing in the puzzles. The social role I had was probably the supporter. The member who was creating the marshmallow and noodle tower was getting very frustrated because he could not get the tower to stay up on its on. So then I told him that he is doing a good job and that this game is not a huge deal and to just have fun with it. I personally think I did not have a dysfunctional
1. State who the members of your group are and describe the task. The members of the group are 579430T, 972816H, 475745X and 536694H. The tasks will be teams and fixtures for the day which requires a team member to put a group of 16 students into groups of two for the event, and also have back up plans for the day.
So the lowest goal is to get least B on every project, so that we can sure that we won’t because the team in order to not get into Kelly. We all want the highest grades, so just put our full attention on every project. And get higher score rather than B. Second are some rules that we need to follow. The first one is that every member cannot be late at the group meeting.
Roles and responsibilities Our team was responsible for the creation of a full job pack that included the job advert, job description, the job application and the person specification. Each one of us had to focus on different parts of the documents in order to create a quality pack of document that would be given to the other team. Each one of us was responsible for their part of the document to do it to a high standard and not leave it as an early draft and make it look as much as the real thing as it would be possible.
3. Figure out what thoughts and feelings I should share and with whom. 4. Figure out what goals and failures I feel I should share and in what relationships. Goal Assessment Method: I will know I have achieved my goal when I feel and other people I have relationships feel that I have opened up to them and that I have developed closer

In the classroom I help those who need it if I have a complete understanding of the topic. If I don’t I will ask the teacher for help. When working in group projects I will usually take the lead and assign everyone a part to work on. Every so often I will check in to see that they are in fact getting their jobs done. My character and how people perceive me is another important topic to me.
1. List the youth organizations where you volunteered and served while completing Parenting Skills? What benefits do you think you gained from your participation? I have not volunteered at any youth organizations while completeing this course. 2.
I belong to many task and relationship groups currently. However, a few stick out above the rest. For starters, Upward Bound is a task group that I consider to be problem-solving. In Upward Bound, especially in my senior year, we have had the problem or obstacle of preparing for college. We have gone through, as the DeVito text would define it, a set of procedural rules to follow to achieve success.
The purpose of group learning and development is to ensure that all learning styles are catered for and the ultimate goal of sharing knowledge is achieved. When using a group to deliver something new each individual can call on a fellow participant to confirm understanding. 1.2 Explain why delivery of learning and development must reflect group dynamics When delivering to a group it is important to consider, what is the normal behaviour within the group? Who plays what role?
Their purpose is first to help others. • Sense of purpose: Your group comprehend what they do and how to do it, however you can have a major effect by sharing a solid feeling of why they 're doing it and where it 's heading. Offer them some assistance with developing an expansive comprehension of the group 's motivation, and confidence in how their part adds to the entirety. • Keep trying: Don’t exhaust yourself up when you don’t live up to your own potentials. Redirect and learn from those times when you misstep and fall over the other 10 resolutions.
My first objective was to observe and possibly lead weekly 5&5 groups and get feedback from the supervisors. Having the opportunity in leading 5&5 has been an incredible experience. During 5&5 groups the residents sit down at five-o-clock and write for a half an hour they write five; things they are grateful, feelings, things what they are working on, and affirmations. When it is five-thirty I begin group by asking who would like to start sharing their 5&5s. When the first person begins, they share what they are grateful for, feelings, and go down the list.
The book Outliers: The story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell talks about how people get very successful in life and how to gain success. Success means thriving for you goals. Being successful is what motivates you to strive harder and reach your goal. Once you have succeeded, you can stop pushing yourself to limits you never thought you could reach. You can take a breath or two.
The time that I have succeeded was when I was a senior in high school and decided to join cross country. It may not sound like a grand success but to me it was. I was and still am one of the laziest people ever. I have no shame in saying that because it is obviously very true. When I decided to join cross-country, no one believed me and some even ridiculed me.
These groups meet three times a week, to read and explain what they read by doing a group discussion. But, those who are at a low level Mrs. Seyam works and helps them, each day with their readings. In this process, Mrs. Seyam is mainly using tracking. In my opinion, having students in a group helps them to develop their thinking by talking about what they read, but I still think even if the group is at the highest level of reading or writing they might need some attention when it comes to group work, especially in the first
The role that I played in my group are initiator-contributor, coordinator, and recorder. In my group, I propose a new idea for my chapter on what to do as an exercise for the whole class. The idea that I came up with was that each group will create their own band, decide who the leader will be, what the other team members roles is and, in the end, explain why they picked those roles. This exercise will not just cover the chapter I'm going through but it will also summarize the chapters my group will present and, in each team, they will experience conflict and different type of communication skills.
