Teenager’s reason about suicide and attempted suicide can be complex and complicated. Suicide is rarer nowadays among children, the rate of suicides and attempts is increasing and this is very alarming for us as adolescence. We should be aware of this situation.
Based on Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suicide is the third-leading cause of death for 15- to 24-years-olds, after accident and homicide.
The risk of suicide increase dramatically when kids and teens have access to firearms at home like guns. Having guns at home can prone a teenager for possibilities of suicide, that is why guns should be unloaded, locked, and kept out of the reach of children and teens.
One of the most common ways to suicide is to overdose themselves by prescriptions, and non-prescriptions medicine for attempting and completing suicide. It is very important to monitor carefully all the medications in your home but it can be easy to buy different prescription medication and carry to schools or store them in the locker or bagpack.
There’s differ between boys and girls about suicide. Girls think about and attempt suicide about twice as often as boys, and tend to attempt suicide by overdosing on drugs or cutting themselves. Yet boys die by suicide …show more content…

That is why communication is the easiest way to make them feel loved and secure, caring, supporting and keep them motivated in life in any circumstances that life brings. Make sure to keep the bond between the teens so they can’t feel alone because sometime this is the reason why teenager attempt to suicide. Never fight with them, some teens think it’s not such big deal but for some adolescent that has a suicidal thoughts or having depression it is not a joke and they take it
