00% of Mrs. Hall’s class agree that some matters should be changed about the school day. This statistic shows that a portion of the kids in our school are unhappy, or just simply want change in our schedule and school day. Harter Middle is a great school, but some concepts should be changed that could make the school day more likeable and fun for example, like changing schedules and classes, busses, and finding ways to make the school day more enjoyable and fun. In the school day several things should be changed that would modify the school day structure. One fact that should be changed in the school is later arrival. Some students at Harter wake up at five thirty in the morning to be able to prepare for the school day, and catch the bus …show more content…

How could we make the school day more fun for students. One way we can make the school day more enjoyable is by using more game based learning. This can be a benefit because it would make kids want to learn and not be as uninterested. Another way it could be beneficial is because it could also make it easier on the teacher because while they would need to teach the lesson later on, most kids would receive their practice from the game instead of handing out so much homework making it easier when it comes to grading it. A second way that would make the school day more enjoyable would be to do more celebrations. How this can be helpful is by giving kids a break on some days and being able to have a wonderful time on holidays like Valentines day and Halloween while on other days still learning like a regular day. Another concept we should add is allowing food again, but precautions would need to be made like peanut and tree nut free as well as milk free, but you could also have those separate like one snack meant for kids with allergies and kids without allergies but both would be fairly equal snacks. Another reason it could be more fun and exciting is because you could have a prize be some sort of candy instead of a front of the lunch line pass which many kids don't use.
