The world of dating is a heady mix of romance and reality. Who among us would not want to date the best-looking people around and measure up to them in every way? Unfortunately, not all dates turn out the way we expect them to simply because we fail to dress appropriately. Nothing can be more nerve-wracking than getting your appearance right. Read on to discover how to dress for your date and ensure you have a wonderful time. (1) Focus on your date, not on yourself. Understand that a date is all about getting to know another person, sharing aspects of your personality with them and building a wonderful relationship. If you are going on a late afternoon drive to be followed by a snack and ice-cream, then do not show up in dressy evening wear. Wear something that is elegantly casual and conducive to the place you will find yourself in. (4) You do not have to wear new or expensive outfits: never base your self-worth on these. Clothes are undoubtedly important but your attitude is more valuable than the brands you wear. Consider how you want others to see you and whether what you want matches with who you truly are. Your date is more interested in enjoying the time you spend together than on the size or cost of your wardrobe. (5) Never dress like somebody else.
