How to impress a boy on chat Would you like to know the inside scoop on how to impress a boy on chat? If you answered "yes" then today is your lucky day. Not only am I a guy, but I have had many years of experience talking to girls on chat. I am going to tell you exactly what to do, if you want to know how to impress a boy on chat. Let’s clear one thing up before I start divulging some secrets to you, which is that sending naughty pictures is not the way to impress a boy on chat. In many cases you may think this is the best way to get his immediate attention, however if he doesn't know you well he may be wondering how many other girls you have sent these pictures too. Although he may be interested in a fling, if he is that type of guys, the …show more content…
You will need to be a bit mysterious and you could add in some flirting at the same time. Some examples could be, "get to know me and find out...." Always leave in some mystery as this will definitely impress him and make him want to learn more. Show him that you are chilled It is important to show him that you are chilled and relaxed. The last thing that a guy wants is a girl who is too intense, clingy or needed. This means that you need to show him that you are not going to stalk his life and turn into a psycho if he chooses to get to know you better. The best way to do this is to give him some space and not to constantly bombard him on chat. Wait for him to contact you first, don't always be the first one to start the conversation. Let a day or two go by before you contact him, let him see that you are not too needy or desperate for his affections. Use pictures and images It is very important to remember that boys are visual creatures by nature. Although I highly suggest not sending naughty pictures, you could choose to send some tasteful pictures. One of the best ways to get his attention, and still keep your dignity is to send him fun pictures while you are chatting every so often. Don't do this all the time but every so often in order to mix things up. For example if you went to the beach and he asks you what you did that day, you could send him a picture of the beautiful beach you were

I thought that the article, “The Devils Bait” by Leslie Jamison, was a very interesting story about the controversy of Morgellon’s disease. I had never heard of this disease prior to reading this article, so I was very interested in what it was about. I was very surprised to find out that this disease was originated in the 2000’s and that I had never heard of it before. I also find it surprising that an entire conference was held at a church in Austin, Texas for those who claimed to be suffering from this disease. It was very interesting to hear the stories from those who had the illness, especially Sandra who shows the video of her in the bathtub and what appears to be larva coming out of her skin.

Chapter two in the textbook Reflect & Relate an Introduction to Interpersonal Communication by Steven McCornack talks all about what “self” is and how to achieve complete fulfillment for one’s self which is also known as self-actualization. The components of self, as described in the book are, “ . . . self-awareness, self-concept, and self-esteem” (McCornack 39). Self-awareness is the idea in which one can take a moment to move feelings, beliefs, and other external influences aside and just evaluate oneself in a holistic perspective that is not skewed by opinions of others, etc. Having the ability to actually think about who one is brings a lot of power and mental stability in such a way that allows for improvement.

In “The Boys Are Not All Right” by Michael Ian Black, the author uses different powers of persuasion to convince the audience to succumb to his opinion that men today don’t know how to properly express their feelings because of cultural norms that expressing your feelings is associated with weakness and femininity. He starts the article by drawing on the fact that almost all mass shootings have been committed by men. He says that men tend to lash out in anger because they don’t know how to properly express their feelings. He attempts to persuade his reader to start a conversation on how to make it more acceptable in society for men to express their emotions in a way that doesn’t potentially hurt others.

Many boys grow up to be just like their fathers, and we are still living like we were in the 1950’s. In the short story, How Boys Become Men, Katz explains what it was like to grow up in the 1990’s and how growing up molds boys into being a man. Throughout the story he shows many examples of events that happened through his life that molded him into a man that he is today. Many boys go through life with things happening like in Katz’s life.
You never know people's intentions or what their motives are, so either be cautious or learn how to read
In the Code Talkers, Ned learns American ways and goes to serve in World War Two by being a Code Talker. In the novel, it shows the ability to find strength and courage through one's culture. The four examples I choose was Ned not wanting to forget his language, doing the Blessingsway ceremony, working hard/not giving up, and learning self-confidence as a marine. When Ned was in boarding school the teachers would punish Navajo children if the spoke Navajo. For some, the punishment was bad enough that it was hard to speak Navajo, but for Ned, it made him not want to forget it.
The movie “Boyz N’ the Hood” is a story centered on the issues that are seen in the urban areas of Los Angeles every day. Tre (the main character) is raised in a way that seems to be correct but he still ends up being a part of criminal activity. While watching this film in an academic setting it is easy to see the social and political reform messages that are being communicated to the audience. On the political side it is easy to see the race and ethnicity of the film maker while on the social side the audience can tell the filmmaker is spreading a message. All together “Boyz N’ the Hood” is a very good film that depicts the type of stuff that happens in the poorer parts of Los Angeles.
Corinne LaLonde Professor Creighton CWP 102 8am March 8th, 2018 Critical Analysis of Men and Women in Conversation is Cross-Cultural Communication The issue of differences between men and women in conversation has been a subject of overreaching research, with various scholars in the subject of linguistics providing different views and conclusions.
