Decisions about restaurants, blog posts and Netflix aren’t exactly earth shattering, but
there are times when the choices you make have the power to change your life…
And the lives of the people you care about.
This is one of the key reasons why most of us freeze when we’re faced with making a
tough decision.
Buying a house.
Getting married.
Getting divorced.
Quitting your job.
Moving to another state or country.
These are hard decisions to make and let’s face it, most of us have made some decisions
that we really want to take back.

Here’s what I mean…
If you're angry, upset or stressed, the chances of you making a bad decision goes
through the roof.
This is true even if you have a physical issue like not getting enough sleep or if you’re
hungry. Decision making is hard on the brain and absorbs a ton of energy. This
pressures rises even more when there’s a complex decision looming over you.
So, when you’re faced with a difficult situation that requires a tough decision, show
yourself some kindness. Give yourself a time out. There’s no need to go for a week-long
vacation. Just take a stroll around the block or have a 10-minute nap.
Do some deep breathing or yoga moves.
Do anything that will take your mind off the decision. When you do, your subconcsious
mind will take over and work on the problem. This way, when you come back to it,
making a decision (even if it’s a tough one) will suddenly feel a whole lot easier.
Secret #3 Understand your options
You can’t make a good decision if you don’t know exactly how many choices you really
have.So, take some time to understand the options that are available to you.

As Malcolm X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” This quote inspires a lot of people like me to try harder and to never stop at one point and give up. In the book The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates, is about two people with the same name and born with the same path, going through challenging life obstacles. They both grew up fatherless and had a difficult childhood.
Our choices come from our own opinions and the ideas of them come from our surrounding elders. When we are young are parents teach us what is right and wrong. When we are making choices the thoughts and ideas are parents taught us are always in the back of our minds. And as we become older and more mature to make are own choices we usually forget your parents ideas and use yours that are what come from your own heart.
No matter how ordinary a human being could be, no one has lived their entire life in someone’s shoe. Everyone stumbles upon different decisions in life, causing different but unique life experiences. However, one’s life can only be changed with one’s decision. Life is about making decisions, whether it’s right or wrong, it all comes from the decision maker.

Things like what you were going to wear, what class to go to, what to eat for lunch, or what pencil to use are all examples of decisions everyone makes on a daily basis. However, some decisions you make can change not only your life, but the lives of others. In the novel The Other Wes Moore, both Weses make decisions that impact their lives severely.

Indecision, by dictionary definition is simply the inability to make decisions quickly. However, indecision itself is not actually such an intelligible term, but rather an overly complex one that dips into the intricate nature of the human mindset. This becomes even more accurate when the act of indecisiveness is paired with compelling circumstances. Oftentimes human beings are required to act irrationally because their circumstances force them to do so.
