Chocolate chip cookies are a drop cookie invented by Ruth Graves in 1938. They were made in the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. They are made with nine different ingredients. (Butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, pure vanilla extract, chocolate chips, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt). The first thing I did was take out all of the ingredients and tools I will need. I mixed half cup of butter, ¾ cup of white sugar, and ¾ cup of brown sugar with a kitchen aid mixer and it turn to a thick brown consistency when I was done mixing. Then I added two eggs and a teaspoon of vanilla to the mixture and it got a little lighter and thicker. I slowly poured the flour mixed in the other mixer while mixing it with the kitchen aid mixer until it was all gone. Finally I poured a twelve ounce bag of chocolate chips into the batter and mixed it all together with a spoon.

I could be inspired by what she made, but it would never come out the way that it did, and that was because the way that she baked was different. I basically could have not made my cookies taste as good as hers, and that is because even if I used the same ingredients as her, she may have mixed them a different way, and that is why it never came out the way that she made

Directions Cut the butter pieces into the flour until it is in tiny pieces. Stir in the sourdough starter, the milk, and the sugar until a soft dough just comes together. Cover and place the mixture in a warm spot to ferment for 7-12 hours. When ready to begin baking, combine the salt, the baking powder, and the baking soda in a very small bowl until evenly mixed. Sprinkle this mixture over the fermented dough and knead until it comes together into a cohesive, soft mass.

Brands like Hershey, M&M, and KitKat rely on cocoa farms to provide them cocoa, the main ingredient for chocolate. But many don't stop to think about where the chocolate they love came from and the process it goes through. Chocolate originally started as a drink. The ancient Aztecs of Mexico would brew cocoa beans to make a chocolaty delicious drink, but chocolate as we know today didn't start till the early 1800's.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of tasting a chocolate bar and sweethearts can all agree on the fact that they are both different with a sweetheart you will notice that they are hard and round like a 2d figure they are a little bitter but as well with that sour flavor you will notice they are mostly sweeter than anything. Happily eating the cookies and listening to her plan everyone just told her “Thanks, but no”. Not tempted by what they were telling her she wouldn’t give up and she soon received a loan with 21% interest. “I love your product, and I love your enthusiasm”, said the gentleman who gave her the loan. He also told her, “to find the baker nearest retirement because they are less concerned about technicalities and more in following his or her heart”. With the help of the loan on August 16, 1977, Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chippery in Palo Alto California was founded.
The brand Hershey’s is one of the biggest names associated with candy. The silver wrapper of a Hershey’s Kiss is iconic, the theme park lots of fun, and the styles of candy bars endless.
