Ways to Prevent Bullying in School. On a rough average, students spend seven hours of their time, daily, at school, and dedicate approximately four more hours to study, do homework, and/or attend extracurricular activities somehow related to their academic prowess. It is safe to state, then, that schools become a second home for children, where they will spend and devote most of their time from early childhood to young adulthood. Why are alarming problems like bullying so recurrent, then? Countless cases filed in court regarding hate speech in schools, reported cases of teenage suicide, and an alarmingly higher rate of anxiety and depression statistics in students all point to one cause in common: bullying in schools. Otherwise, where would kids learn to use the bad words they call out other students with? Where would they get those bad habits, and horrible attitudes? Children that bully other children are the cause of bullying, but not the reason it hasn’t been able to stop for decades now. Now that they are acknowledged as such, schools and specialized staff like counselors must be aware of the necessary preventive measures and disciplines to stop future imitations that endanger the security of this second home. A lot has to change, then, for bullying to stop being such a prominent issue. More than campaigns, talks, excuses and punishments, children themselves must properly understand the issue and the severe consequences it implies. Students, regardless their age or group, with little to no boundaries or even a sense of respect for authorities tend to be the specific reason for so many cases of bullying to develop in schools. These students are labeled as bullies, or “problematic children” that schools and authorities love to put in a corner and let them reflect on their behavior. David Bornstein in his article “Fighting Bullying with Babies” told about the issue of bullying and bullying prevention programs. He says that people should stop bullying and raise children who will stop bullying. In this article, David Bornstein said that bullying occurs everywhere and I agree with his words. This is a problem not only in America, it is a worldwide problem. In my native country Uzbekistan, the schools have the same situation: the aggressive are bullying and intimidating the weaker people.
Around the world there are many kind of problems that afflict kids of all age but there is one in particular that is relevant, this problem is the bullying. Also many kids commit suicide because of this problem, this isn't an actual problem, the bullying exist many years ago almost all generations of humans witness the bullying in the childhood.
Bullying is a serious problem all over the nation and can lead to more serious problems. The columbine shooting was a cause of two students who were constantly being bullied. The gunfire that opened at columbine high school, was also one of the most horrendous massacre at a school. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were two students who had planned a even more terrible attack. Both students spend months preparing for this moment and throughout this essay we will learn what events and planning, lead to this tragedy.

Considering that the first signs of bullying appear among schoolchildren, we should examine it in its infancy, that is, bullying in early years and school life, which in turn becomes with the passage of years violence and in some cases even crime. Bullying is an undesirable, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves actual disparity of power. According to Megan Brooks bullying is a serious public health problems, with significant short-and long-term psychological consequences for the child who is bullied and the child who is the bully. I say that it’s human nature, and you can’t fix that. As such, the current attempt at stopping bullying is not, and will not, work. What we need to do, is cut down our efforts. We have a lot of efforts, but that doesn’t mean that they’re good.
Bullying has been named an “emerging public health issue requiring intervention” (Ansary, Elias, Greene, & Green, 2015, p. 27). As a major problem in schools around the world, the issue of bullying must be addressed in order to keep students physically and emotionally safe. The act of bullying not only affects the well-being of the person being targeted, but it also affects the rest of the school community too. It can be difficult for teachers, principals, and superintendents to make an ethical decision about what to do when bullying occurs because there are misunderstandings about what bullying is, leading to the improper identification of situations.

Bullying Can Be Prevented Bullying is a form of violence to pick on victims because they are different from their bullies, have insecurity/jealousy or home problems. The hate towards their victim has something to do with the victim having an unusual gift or being intelligent the bullies has yet to become. It is important that this behavior should be prevented or it will become worse. Bullying is one of the main issues public and private schools have to face on a day-to-day basis. When the bully takes it too far, the victim snaps and retaliates by fighting him/her back physically or verbally.
