I’m Juan Ortiz, the Granite Shop Manager for Primera in Phoenix, Arizona. I want to take a moment to express to you what I am about. I have 14yrs of experience in the granite industry. The granite industry is not just a job to me, it’s my passion, and I love and enjoy my job. I know this industry from top to bottom. Back in 2012 I decided I wanted to give more to this industry. That is why I went back to school and obtain my certificate in general business and my associates degree in Middle Management. I have managed two other granite shops, in which I was able to turned around in less than a year. Primera hired me on May 15, 2017. I was told that they were looking for someone to turn around the shop because it was doing poorly under Jr’s Management. I was eager to present all my ideas and knowledge, but sadly I feel like my ideas are not being acknowledged and that’s one of the reason I am reaching out to you. I want to make this company one of the most successful granite shops in AZ. I also want to build an environment were employees are happy to come to work, that’s what I am all about.
