\chapter{Conclusion}
In this last chapter, I will give a reflection on my working experiences during my internship and will also take into account how helpful my previous studies were.
\section{Reflection and Feedback Project}
When I started my internship, I didn't know anything about single molecule spectroscopy or organometal halide perovskites at all. Though I feared this topic could be to chemical, I was enthusiastic after I learned more about the physics and various powerful applications of the measurement method.\\
During my internship, I developed and learned various skills. Conveniently, my tasks as I described them previously, suited perfectly to the knowledge I obtained during my technical physics education. In my experience, especially

All expectations I had before my internship fulfilled or even exceeded. Of course, sometimes I had troubles with my project and my tasks, but the friendly work environment, my coworkers and supervisors helped me to master them, and therefore I remained motivated over all the time.\\
Summarising, I can say that I don't regret that I've done my internship in the department of chemical physics at Lund University. It prepared me perfect for writing my bachelor thesis and also pointed the way for possible fields of specialisation for my master's degree study.
\section{Recommendations}
In this last part of my internship report, I want to give some recommendations relating to the structure of my study and the contained internship in particular.\\
In general, I was pleased that I could use plenty of the knowledge I obtained in lectures. But still, my skills in programming, and especially in Matlab, would have been underdeveloped if I haven't worked as a research assistant right before my internship. As a technical physicist, this ability is essential to analyse data and obtain results and it should be practised more often. But that is the only part I criticise in our education.\\
I rather want to take the opportunity and recommend the University Lund and the chemical physics department in
Furthermore, my peers and I created a model or an activity, related to the week’s lesson, to illustrate a concept in chemistry.
I was later assigned my project where I had search for literature for pharmaceuticals provided to me by collaborators in the Neth erlands at Utrecht University. This was on a much smaller scale but it still contributes to the overall project once completed. 3. What skills did you find the most valuable, and were these related to your M. Env. Sc. course work, or could they have been?
To demonstrate my skills and knowledge I have accomplished following tasks- First of all we tested DC power
If I could change the assignment I would make the requirements clearer in the assignment document in the checklist. Additionally, standardized scaling needs to be used, as some TA’s grade differently than other TA’s. The assignments have many unwritten expectations and requirements not only for content but also in formatting. These issues need to be addressed to not only minimize confusion amongst the students, but also to decrease the amount of time TA’s repeat themselves about these unwritten requirements.
Governor’s School Essay Response Ever since I was young you could always find me toying around with objects trying to figure out how they worked. Taking them apart, studying them, and then reconstructing them back together was a usual past time for me. Looking back I realized that all of the time I spent on learning how something worked was the foundation that flourished into my passion for engineering.
Transitioning from high school to university was stressful, but Science 1A03 has been a tremendous amount of support during this time. The course enabled my journey through the first few months of university straightforward and also has taught me valuable skills about university and the different science courses offered at McMaster. The many aspects of Science 1A03 included the lectures, “Introducing … talks”, mentoring, MRI’s and weekly quizzes/reflections. Each week there would be one lecture where a guest speaker or Dr. Symons would talk about the different resources offered at McMaster or even vital skills to have while in university. One of our guest speakers was the Thode librarian, who showed us the vast topics of books present as
By participating as an SIP intern, I hope to gain experience in the scientific field and to further my passion in science. When I am a working adult, I would be most happy spending my days in bioengineering. I highly enjoy delving into biology- I love the classes, reading its applications, and researching what the career is like. Thinking narrowly, participating as an SIP intern gives me a chance to spend my summer well.
Nowell Stoddard Moderation Paper #1 As I stated in my first set of moderation papers, I believe that my Waldorf education in middle and high school has been incredibly influential on how I approach physics and all of my academic classes. I think that at this juncture whoever it is best to focus on what has changed over the last semester. So for this paper I will focus on my college work in the last two semesters.
However, the most important thing I learned was the differences between theory and practical application that I found out during these interships. Hence, combining theory with practice deeped my understanding of textbook knowledge as well as enriched my hands-on
Also I believe that this school has also helped me to know what path to go on in my journey of becoming an engineer. This school has helped me learn what courses that I should take as well as what path to go in when it comes to being an engineer. I really enjoy engineering and I hope that when I grow up I will be able to reach my goal of becoming a biomedical engineer. I believe that when I become a biomedical engineer I would be able to create things for people all over the
Especially interesting to me are researches in areas as genetic engineering of metabolic pathways and synthetic biology, develop in your university. I think that my experience in microbial, biochemical and molecular biology area could be useful and coud let me fit well in this Ph.D. program. I am convinced that the intensive research Ph.D. training will help me become a better prepared for a position in biomedical research, pharmaceutical industry or
This module and coursework requirements were directed to present some crucial and effective experience for me. During the entire course, I had learnt a number of different learning, which can be proved quite helpful for me to build a successful and attractive career ahead. I can present the significance of the coursework activities done in terms of my learning from this subject. The reflection of the coursework learning can be presented as below: Problems faced during the research work: Although I have been able to finish my coursework requirements within the time frame.
During my internship program although our team had no leader, I took the responsibility to distribute the work among our team to ensure we finished on time. I am always a team player who believes in ‘Teamwork makes a Dream works’ – The benefit of accessing more ideas, working in harmony and helping each other for achieving mutual goals. I also never restrained myself to curriculum and participated in many seminars on topics related to computer science, information technology, and entrepreneurship. I underwent training in programming language and was also exposed to the practical nature of
For example, my experience as a student already proven to me that theoretical knowledge I learned in class like structures and machinery, engineering, circuit theory and software not only important for the exams, but it is also important for me to implement it during my troubleshooting analysis so that machine problem might be solved at the required set of time. Finally, the knowledge in the field of Electrical will able to help me in identifying, study and solve the problems I will encounter during work.
Right from my childhood days, I was always eager to know how things work in surroundings. When I was given toys, I hardly played with them rather tried to dismantle it and try to know the mechanism running it. During school days, I have participated in many science exhibitions which further motivated me towards taking my knowledge and experience onto a higher and advanced level. With this desire and curiosity to understand machines and mechanisms, I chose to complete my graduation in Mechanical Engineering.
