I have learned during the last two weeks, from working on finishing up our power point presentation. It is interesting to see how previously experiences acquired from our interaction with the CCF team, literature review, and data analysis have had a positive impact on preparing the presentation. What was unclear at the beginning, was taking form, little by little until we had our final result, and meet our project objectives.

My emotional responses to learning is being affected by the fact that we have to present our practicum project to the CCF team at any time soon. I’m scared about not saying the right things, or not being able to answer questions properly, because I always have found very difficult to speak in public. What learning activity or emotional response most took me by surprise during the last two weeks?
The emotional response that took me by surprise during the last two weeks was the feeling of achieving the goals from the program. Even if we still need to make few changes to our presentation as per Stephanie’s suggestion. I feel that my learning experience during the whole MSBI program and especially during the practicum has already reached its maximum level, with the completion of our presentation. However, I have mixed feelings; satisfaction of being able to complete the program, but at the same time, fears for the oncoming presentation event.

I feel proudest about regarding my learning activities during the last two weeks of being able to find possible solutions for a better workflow of the PACU and to contribute with my participation to the promptly completion of the deliverables including the power point
The assigned readings and the instructions in the curriculum continue to aid me in reaching my outcomes. Interaction with the students in the discussion thread and guidance from my mentors and instructor has decreased some of the problems that may occur during the final
Watching my presentation has allowed me to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my Isocrates speech. Through the video I could see that my strength was my prior knowledge of the experiment, and I had incorporated credible sources to support the thesis. I also realized that delivering the speech is what I need to work most on. The strength of the organization in my presentation was that I began with a rhetorical question by Dr. Zimbardo.
My learnings this week is about letting myself play every now and then, how uncomfortable Hyde makes me, and that “failing” is more than a failure. On Tuesday I was able to help and participate twice in the workshop Devon Damonte planned for us. After the Monday before and the morning of left me feeling incredibly stressed this initially filled me with worry about how my peers would behave and how smoothly things were running. After meeting Devon and setting up I realized that he has a very kind and calming demeanor which seemed to rub off on everyone throughout the day as he talked about 16mm film and projectors.
What I did to prepare for my informative speech was I would go through my speech in my head or just think about what I was going to say. Other things I did to prepare was I did all the required things like the outline and power point, I also did things like making note cards so when I went up there I knew what I wanted or needed to say. I felt a little nervous at first when I went up in front of the class, but as I started my nerves calmed down and then it became easy to just talk to everyone. I started to relax more and I didn’t worry about what I said as much and then I started to rely more on what I knew and I didn’t need my note cards as much.

For example, the activity for process transactions from customer, the result is to ensure that customer is satisfied with the service and continues to return. In putting together my portfolio, I could definitely see that I have made an incredible progress from the foundation of this class. My practice of grammar, words and the general structure of my papers has improved massively. Reflecting on my strengths and weaknesses as a writer, as well as things I have learned in my own writing process is a big accomplishment.
3.Choose one aspect of your presentation and tell me how you will work to improve it for your next presentation. Be concrete. Offer suggestions that you will use for improvement. I always get anxious before giving any speech or presentation. I may not maintain eye contact with the audience to cop up with my anxiety.

Through the course, I have grown within many areas. I have become aware of the power a single word can have to a sentence. Knowing now that I must be careful in how my ideas are presented. I also have improved my documentation skills by activities like our research paper. My knowledge of the English subject has grown by activities like our comma rules worksheet, commonly confused words, and even noredink.
As students, presentations are something that is required in most classes yet, students do not see themselves as public speakers. Throughout high school and now in college, I have had to present material in 80 percent of the classes that I have taken. Presenting was, and still is something that I struggle with no matter how big or how small the group is that I am presenting to. I knew that Public Speaking was a required class for me so, rather than putting it off, I decided to go ahead and get it out of the was as soon as possible. Speaking in front of people is out of my comfort zone.
After much discussion, and work, our group had a very well put together bill proposition. The most intriguing, yet nerve wracking part of this situation was standing in front of every Illinois Senator and presenting our bill. Not only did I have to present the bill, but I had to take questions from the skeptics, and reassure those who felt uneasy about our ideas.
