Humanistic Psychology

Psychology is ultimately the study of the mind combined with the mental process behind it. However, it is not limited to just the study of human behavior, but also that of animals. The psychological process that was the most interesting to me was humanistic psychology. The approach was interesting because it focuses on studying an individual, case-by-case, instead of a group as a whole. It also seems to be a good approach for someone who has low self-esteem or who feels depressed. The fact that this approach seems to debunk the idea that neither environmental events or unconscious human process determines a humans behavior seems interesting, because personally I feel that these two can potentially to a certain extinct impact human behavior.
