Good evening to you all. Students and teachers, friends and mentors, siblings and parents. I hope that you are all doing well and have had a great journey as I did. I would like to congratulate each single one of you on this spectacular achievement that we were to accomplish together. First, I would like to thank the custodian of the holy mosques and his government for presenting us, the people, with such an opportunity to explore the outer world and seek a journey that would change our lives. For now, we have gone through an experience that only a few percentage of students from all over the world get to examine. We, the students of Misk, have been able to attend courses at one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Harvard University, and all of that was possible because of god, and the government. I thank you, my government, for preparing such programs and for encouraging such foundations to help students succeed and attend various programs that will pave the path for their future. Sadly, such programs and foundations are not available all over the world. During the first couple of days of the program, I got to meet new people and know where they were coming from, and …show more content…
I thank you my dear beloved parents for all your kindness and trust that you have put in me. I hope that I have made you proud with this grand achievement. I know for a fact that no matter what I say, what I do, I will never be able to thank you enough. Yet, I will keep trying. I also thank my friends, present and absent, recent and former, for always being there for me and supporting me. Since the moment that I began my enrollment in this program, they have encouraged me to move forward. They have celebrated with me every accomplishment I was able to complete, and helped me get up whenever I stumbled and fell. Now we have become a wide, diverse, and loving
First, to the those who have made this night possible. I, and all the other graduates sitting here tonight would like to thank the Winton Woods High School Administration, Counselors, Teachers, as well as those from around the district, including the Winton Woods School District Board of Education and Superintendent for the countless nights that they invested in us over the past 13 years. While many times it felt like you were being unreasonable and much harder than necessary, we can see now, your persistent nature was borne from your unadulterated passion to ameliorate our lives for decades to come. Second, on behalf of the Winton Woods Class of 2017, we would all like to extend our deepest appreciation to the friends and family in attendance tonight.
I think it’s amazing that 18 months after being admitted to Lake House I am graduating. I was admitted to Lake House for many different behaviors and now I can proudly say that I have truly transformed and become a very confident person. I am very proud of myself and not only that but my family because they have worked just as hard as me to help make my family work the way it does now.
Kaley Cuoco has never been shy about the fact that she loves The Bachelor. A lot of celebrities are fans of different shows and even though Kaley 's show The Big Bang Theory is on CBS and The Bachelor is on ABC, that doesn 't keep her from loving the show. Now ET Online is sharing that said that Kaley Cuoco tried to call into Bachelor Live last week and they didn 't allow her to ask Ben Higgins her questions. Kaley Cuoco shared at the People 's Choice Awards that she tried to call and it didn 't work out. Here is what she had to say about it.
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to thank each of you for your hard work on behalf of our students. I continue to be encouraged by the progress being made in the classrooms and throughout the buildings. I believe we continue to build a organization that lives out the belief that with our help, each and every child can achieve at high levels no matter their backgrounds. My Thanksgiving wishes for you are that you know how much value you bring to WAPS every day, and how much you mean to our children and to me. When you perhaps pause for a moment of reflection tomorrow, I hope that you too find inspiration in the blessings surrounding you.
Hello Heather, Happy Thanksgiving!!! I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for your constant support and encouragement – I, obviously can’t thank you enough. I know you’re going extra miles to ensure my growth professionally; your belief in my potential has always been a source of motivation that kept me from giving up at several instances. Once again, I truly thank you for all your help and support.
This will create greater access to higher education so that many more students can acquire the requisite skills to make a meaningful contribution towards the development of our country. Investment in higher education is necessary if we are to establish a foundation that supports the development of Saint Lucia’s human capital, and the sustainability of national, economic and social growth. The quality of knowledge created within SALCC and its availability to the wider economy is critical to our national competitiveness. This should not be new to us, as our own Sir Arthur Lewis stated many years ago that “The fundamental cure for poverty is not money but knowledge”. The time for less talk and more action to create visionaries of the 21st century is now, and not later.
I am grateful for having had the opportunity to learn and grow at Keystone in the addictions field. The staff has been patient and helpful as I have gained much knowledge as I worked through my master’s program. There are not words to express the gratitude I have for everyone and all that they have done for me this last year, not only, professionally, but also, personally through my journey at Keystone.
Good evening, we have recently experienced the death of a young man in high school. Matthew was born on July 23, 2002. He moved all around the country and settled into Phoenix, Arizona for high school. He attended Brophy college prep, until his death. He was kind and generous.
It's a great honor for me to stand here in front of you all, with a heavy heart. As you all know we have been through a series of horrific events where one after another, innocent lives have been slaughtered without any reason. (high note) (base) I would like to thank in particular, Dr. Zaki, the District Superintend of the United Methodist Church for this thoughtfulness regarding tonight's vigil. Dr. Zaki thank you so much I think we should (stress) have these kinds of events because (stress) we need awareness, we need understanding, we need to broaden our minds,we need to create more interfaith and inter cultural harmony to embrace each other in the times of pain.
Hello fellow otters, I stand here today running for president. Becoming this position i will promise you i will work hard, listen to your ideas and do everything in my power to make this school a fun, and happy place to learn. After all i have been in student council before and know how to play my possession. I say this speech today not just as a canadian but also as your friend. And like a friend, i will be 100% honest with you in informing you about our school challenges.
I will continue to carry on the same kindness and thank you for assisting fellow students in achieving their goals in
The friends I’ve made through the Stars program will be my friends for life. The hard work I’ve been through makes me a stronger person today. Swimming has taught me that challenges are nothing when you have loved ones by your side. My freshman year the upperclassmen used to always say: “Bring honor to the family!” It sounded out of place back then, but now it makes sense.
My son and I, we no longer stand eye to eye, he is growing up way to fast for me. Jack, I swear in the past 16 years every day you have touched my heart in some way. I know that some family and friends expect you to act a certain way, but I have raised you, to be honest, and speak your mind I'm delighted that you don't follow others and are different most world changers are. No matter how long those legs of yours grow or how high I have to look up to you, you will always be my son God has put, special men in your life. I believe it doesn't get any better than your Dad, and Papa I want you to remember son when you start to second guess yourself.
It’s so great to see so many smiling faces today. Let’s not forget why we are here- to celebrate the marriage of this amazing couple. I’m so happy I got the honor to be one of your bridesmaids. I mean, even though I wasn’t your maid of honor, I’m still happy to be here. Samantha, I’m honored to stand here and congratulate you on this beautiful day.
Second time. Congratulations. And our many friends from Africa. This is a double celebration today because I understood from the First Lady, from Margaret, that you have a granddaughter. Now I don't know what is harder, to bring a granddaughter to the world or to get re-elected.
