Initally, al-Qaeda considered targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11, but decided to go against it because they feared it would get too out of control. Four passenger airlines, all of which departed from airports in the northeastern United States bound for California, were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda members. One plane hit the Pentagon just outside of Washington D.C., the second plane crashed in a field in Pennslyvania, and the last two planes crashed into the Twin Towers. Within one hour and 42 minutes both 110 story towers were completely on the ground, with debris filling the air and fires starting to spread. Now they are scorching into flames, and by 10:30 both towers had fallen straight down. It seems like the towers should have toppled over, but they did not, but It fell straight down. However, the planes hit so high up in the towers that the towers did not topple over, now if the planes hit lower they would have toppled over.

In his address to the nation on January 28, 1968, President Reagan uses allusion, pathos, and tone to comfort the audience after the catastrophic events. In his speech, Reagan manipulates his

Revised Roger Rosenblatt’s essay, “The Man in the Water,” details the abominable elements cohesively worked together to bring down the plane and kill the people aboard during the crash Air Florida Flight 90. On Wednesday, January 13, 1982, a heavy snowstorm over Washington, D.C. superfluously caused the plane to crash into the Rochambeau Bridge and fall into the Potomac River. On that particular evening, the frigidity of the arcane weather meant that Arnold forcefully fought the treacherous, blisteringly cold water. During this horrendous crash, the wind blasted the survivors, the scene of the incident was grisly. People are increasing the chance of crashes or the chance of failures with systems when they have to be rescued. According to the news interview” Helicopter Rescues Increasing On Everest”, rescues on Mt. Everest by helicopters are growing. “You might see as many as four or five helicopters flights into Everest base camp every day,” says Nick Hail from the news interview. The helicopters on Everest are just a big problem because the air is so thin, so it is very hard to fly up in that altitude.
