I Want To Attend College Essay

I grew up with a single mother who worked and raised three kids by herself. We struggle everyday, but somehow I have a roof over my head, clothes, food to eat, and a bed to sleep in. My mother always told me do not let anyone tell you that you can not achieve your dreams. My mother also taught me that food is life. This is the reason I plan on going to College to receive my bachelors degree to make all the things my mother does for me mean something. I plan on traveling, attending college for culinary arts, and taking care of my family.

After high school I plan on going to college to receive my bachelors degree. My course of study is Culinary Arts and Food Service management. One day I would like to be able to run my own restaurant. This is a dream I have had since I was five years old. If you do the subtraction from my age, I have wanted to be a chef for thirteen years. This is a long time to have a dream. Most people who have a dream for that long do not follow their dreams. Now I am following that dream.

After learning about the different cultures I would like to own a multi-cultural restaurant. This a good business idea, because there are not lot’s of places you can go to experience the different cultures all in one. When I was young I was never able to travel the world, because my mother could not afford it. This is a way where people who can not pay to travel across the world to experience the world, can at an affordable price. This would allow people to experience all cultures in one place. People would be able to decide where you are eating. If you want chinese, mexican, french, italian, african etc. We do not see restaurants like this with all the different cultures, I would love to one day make this idea a
