There are numerous reasons why I want to attend Colorado Film School. I want to attend film school because I want to create a confident atmosphere for my family. I promised myself, my mother, and my whole family that I will earn a degree. Not to mention I want to be a better role model for my future family. But in the meantime film school will prepare me for a firm basis in my occupation.
Having a positive atmosphere, and being a good role model is the most important reason why I to attend Colorado Film School. I feel like if you want to do anything in this world, you’re capable of doing it. I feel like the skills that I will learn will be an efficient weapon to compete with others in the film industry. I feel like I’m creative but I can be more creative to reach my full potential. Also, film school is a stepping stone to working with certain equipment to get me prepared to work with even better. For instance I film and edit videos on an everyday basis but my work can always be better. I want to become an expert. I feel like film Schools in general are designed to ease you into the art form, usually starting off small, and gradually moving to superior and improved projects. I never expected film school to teach me how to make films or tell a story, because I believe as a human you have your own stories to tell. But I do believe that film school will help me overcome from my earlier projects and help me improve on later projects. Usually mistakes are made and lessons are learned, but the early projects are small and insignificant.
Successively, by building a solid foundation for my career, film school often has internships and coordinators that could potentially lead to jobs in the future. This is a huge reason why I would like to attend film school. Attending film school I am able to enhance my financial support for myself and my family.
