In high school, I hope to be an A+ student in language arts and to continually grow. I have grown very much as a reader and writer in language arts. From 6th grade too now I have learned new things and have grown becoming better in language arts. I learned my strengths and weaknesses in reading and writing. Which helped me get better in language arts. I have many goals for myself in language arts that I hope to complete by the end of the year.In my life, my mom loved to read. When she was little so she gave me book recommendations that she liked which helped me learn to love to read. Reading and writing also come with accomplishments and struggles along the way but in time you improve and become better.
First and foremost graduating on February 27th 2015 with Class 002 of The Massachusetts Trial Court Officer Academy has to be my initial goal. Without completing this academy all the additional personal goals I have set for myself will mean nothing. Setting personal goals is my way to achieve the hard to reach accomplishments I strive for. Although there may be one main objective, before I can reach it, I set many “step goals” to focus on along the way. My first set of “step goals” was the application, résumé, and interview process to which I sought out a person I knew whose job was to read résumés and conduct interviews for the company Lockheed Martin. He told me what he looks for in a résumé, what keeps him reading it and what makes
One of the things that sets me apart from other students is my strong work ethic and my determination to succeed. I have always be taught that the only way to success is through hard work and persistence. Whenever I am working on something I do it to the best of my ability and I take great pride in it. Even when I fail at something I don’t get discouraged because I believe that failure is only a option if you allow it. As a student I can assure you that that I will work diligently and tireless and work toward excellence.
From stair-climbing wheelchair to prosthetic mind-controlled limbs - the rate of innovative products developed for the less fortunate people in the society is increasing. My long-term goal is to inspire the next generation of researchers to develop computational methods and optimization techniques that would help in creating products to aid differently abled people. I believe that making small changes to the design conceptualization methods will have a great impact on the efficient design of products. I believe that choosing a career as a professor will be a cardinal step towards reaching my long-term goal. Being a professor is the best platform for developing knowledge on computational design by doing what I'm truly excited, namely, learning
My Mother once told me, " Never just do something and be done even if you mastered it." Some people believe that if you mastered something you can not grow farther than what you mastered, but I strongly believe that you can because if Michael Jordan would of never mastered basketball nobody would know what basketball is today or he would of never grown up to be the person he is now. First and foremost, trying can make anything possible. For example , my friend Walter tried out for the junior varsity basketball team he didn't qualify for the team, but that still didn't stop him from trying out for the summer ledge team during the summer he practiced with one of the coaches because he knew he was going to master his lay up's,
Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.” (Martin Luther King Jr., 1947) At 30, I could not agree more with Dr. King. His statement is one of the reasons why I am back in school. As I turn over a new leaf in my life, starting all over in school, this is the best decision that I could ever generate. Needless to say, although I have made the conscientious decision to come back, I have discovered that I have a great deal to work on. There are 3 specific challenges that I face but I will not let determine my future. These challenges include; time management, motivation and anxiety. Although these may be current challenges, I have discovered that I have a newfound determination of how to strategize. I will conquer each goal in hopes of gaining knowledge, to be comfortable and confident in the remainder of my time in school.
I put forth goals this school year in PE using smart goals. Smart goals are specific goals that an individual 's set for themselves in order to challenge their athletic ability. Every four to six weeks a plan of action is produced for achieving the set goal. When setting a smart goal it is important to include a detailed description of the goal. The plan should include a description of the goal, how it will be measured, the attainability of the goal, its benefits, and the time period.
The first six weeks of middle school have been challenging and amazing to experience. It has been hard to transition with all this newness and with Mr. Zekri leaving. Now, I have to be more responsible of myself and where I leave my possessions. Also, I am still getting back in the groove from summer and the amount of work we have doesn’t exactly help that. Contour lines in science has also been a burden... for remembering where the differences are between a contour line and an index contour or a contour interval is not easy. Too add, my friends are very amiable, and there’s such thing as “grace” at school. It is not just a name, it’s like forgiveness, and I’m delighted to have some of it in our school. God will help me a lot this year, I know it! Along with all this, I have some goals for this school year, spiritually and physically, and I know God has much in store for me,
My personal goal for the next five years is to become a teacher for the deaf students. There are three steps I must accomplish in sequence to achieve by obtaining Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, seeking internship position, and to find a school where I would be a Special Education teacher. While pursuing my personal goal as the teacher, it takes me four years to complete my steps before I can perform to teach for the deaf students. Without following those steps, there is no way for me to be qualified for being teacher to deaf students.
Money! All of our dreams with larger houses, the fast cars, and the financial freedom, which includes what we want. This is one way people define success. However, there is a better way of defining success. The way a lot of us do not think of. To set yourself with good goals, have a great education, and also having a satisfying job. This is how I define success.
Goal setting is important in any area of life where you want success, and this includes career change planning.
My sister and I also do gymnastics at home. We did a lot in the summer, but since the days are getting cold we usually do it in our basement. One of my long terms goals is to keep playing sports and to stay healthy. In order to do this, I will have to keep exercising and improve my endurance in a bunch of physical activities. This will also stop me from having bad health, heart disease, and cancer. Also, for my new pacer goal, I plan to get 35 pacers. In order to be successful, I will try to improve my endurance and do regular gymnastics, yoga and running practices. My long-term goal is to be a good runner and be flexible. For this, I will have to never give up in my life while I am trying these things so that I can stay flexible and have endurance in running my entire life and also set an example for my kids. My sources are my parents because they will help me stay healthy by packing me healthy lunches, helping me keep/improve my endurance and stay on task. Lastly, my sibling because they will help me go for runs with me and do gymnastics/yoga with me. This is what my long-term and short-goals
Taking a self-assessment is never easy and is only beneficial when you are honest with yourself about where you are in certain areas of your life. In taking the self-assessment I had to take an in-depth look at myself in each of the areas identified, and that was not easy. I did learn, however, that I was stronger in some areas after thinking about it and taking a hard-look at each area. Also, it surprised me that I have changed and grown in certain areas and gained definite strength.
Some guys and maybe even girls that happen to play a sport might have that certain goal that they are determined to reach and won't stop until it is achieved. For example, in basketball, whether it may be to make a certain amount of baskets or catching as many passes in one handed during practice. My goal started when I began to play basketball I wanted to be able to dunk, something about the ability to be up so high in the air and slamming the ball into the hoop with such aggression was so mesmerizing. Going to open gyms and not seeing alot of people with the ability to dunk the ball would give me that sense of relieve that soon I’ll be the only one to dunk the ball and everybody would look in awe. Took me to the end of my sophomore year to
My goal for my final quarter in 6th grade would be for me to get straight A 's. I plan on doing my work and getting it right and nderstanding what i 'm doing. Positive influences that can help me achieve my goal is to stop talking to people around me and keep my mind on my work. Positive influences are also talking to a teacher to get help and finish my
