Our utility plant generates steam and power for entire polyester work. The online generation/consumption pattern is monitored by services section who flag variations to relevant users for corrective actions when consumption increase. This process results in a time lag. The project aimed to improve to improve communication between producers and users leading to increased ownership and prompt actions by end users to eliminate wastes. This system had brought a significant reaction in steam consumption by about 7 % resulting in considerable saving during the second half of the year. This project corroborated our resolve of energy conservation and process optimization. These steps contributed to some extent but still we are facing the same from the production of Polyester staple fibre, as further you will see the statistice of four years from 2011 to 2014.
