Introduction: Leadership by its definition means to lead or guide a group of people. Even the ability to do so is also defined under the same word ‘Leadership’. This term is related to Philosophy of politics. But is Leadership necessary and do we need specific qualities to be a Leader? We come across the term leadership in many instances, like in ruling a country, to manage a system(college, institute or any). What does the term perfect ruler (leader) signifies? Qualities which impact on a person’s leadership: Attitude Eligibility Stability or consistency Thesis: Leadership is not always necessary for a particular field of job, or government. A perfect leader according to me must be able to cope up with the conditions and must be consistent in his decisions. If we argue that why not everybody is eligible for leadership? Let us consider a candidate who is very dumb and inactive but he is given a leadership then he may or may not do the assigned task perfectly and make his group to do so. And in the same way if a person with all the above qualities and is not doing his leadership perfectly, these are questions which can’t be answered. But the term perfect leader is a questionable issue as discussed above. But if we have the qualities mentioned above we can be closely near to the perfect leader. As mentioned in my argument which states that we don’t need to have all the mentioned qualities, few examples stated strengthens the argument. Thus the topic of perfect leader turns to be a complex problem and the leader’s characteristics also in the same complex problem.
