Teaching Writing for IELTS
“IELTS’’, (“International English Language Testing System”) is one of the most sought-after and competitive certificate at the international market not only from the universities or colleges, but also from the organizations. IELTS for academic purposes constitutes four sections: reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Student should uphold the common standards approved by the association of IELTS, they are:
1. Task achievement - It checks, whether an examinee understood essence of a question that has strong arguments to support her or his idea, examples, specific facts and control words limitation. There are occasions when students analyze the question mistakenly, this is the easiest way to experience failure in the exams, despite a good command of vocabulary and grammar student may have.
The Writing Task 1 of the IELTS Academic test requires to write a summary of at least 150 words in response to a particular graph (bar, line or pie graph), table, chart, or process (how something works, how something is done). From the view of my point, below there are basic tricks that may assist the students to succeed in writing section.
1. Analyzing a topic.
Before starting to write an essay, analyze what kind of question you have been given at the exam. Underline the key words facilitate to understand its burden.
2. Warming up
Spend some time making notes. It will enable you to focus on the issues you are going to discuss in the topic. Sometimes, the students subject to the emotions and forget what they wanted to write.
3. Giving examples.
Brainstorm special examples, special facts, statistical figures, articles, scientific papers to support your essay. They will take persuasion off your essay.
4. Use transitional words.
They can be used (by students and teachers alike) to find the right expression. English transition words are essential, since they not only connect ideas, but also can introduce a certain shift, contrast or opposition, emphasis or agreement, purpose, result or conclusion, etc. in the line of argument.
