Ontario, Canada 's most populous province with a population of more than 13.5 million, accounts for nearly 40 percent of all Canadians. To render healthcare services to people in Ontario through hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities, registered nurses and specialty nurse practitioners are needed more than ever in Ontario. In present scenario, the biggest population of baby boomers who were born between 1946 and 1964 is getting old. As a result, their health care needs are also increasing at a rapid pace. At this time, the province’s ratio of 72 nurses to every 100,000 people lags behind the nation’s average of 83 nurses to every 100,000 Canadians.
After a few days of waiting, the immigration application was officially completed and sent to the immigration department of Canada. After six months of suspense and waiting, we received a letter stating that our immigration application was approved by the Canadian immigration department. My parents were
There are over seventy thousand sworn police officers throughout Canada, and the numbers are steadily growing. The Province of Saskatchewan has the most police officers per capita, with over 200 officers on duty for every one hundred thousand residents. This is equitable, however, as Saskatchewan has the highest crime rates in all of
When young immigrant workers come to Canada, they might bring their families with them. If they do, then this will bring in a whole new population of young workers and their young families. This is good because the largest group of the population is aged 55-59 years old. Overall, reuniting families is
Essay: Rough After the second world war, the cold war had impacted Canada’s relations drastically. The United States replaced Great Britain as Canada’s main ally and main source of support during the cold war because they became the Canada’s main economic, defensive and cultural partner. Canada’s economy has been greatly affected with the aid of the US, becoming its greatest trading partner, Canada trades more than $2 billion in goods and services daily with the United States, Canada exports more goods to the state of Michigan than it does to the entire European Union, including Great Britain which Canada used to be a colony of. Among them Ghimire family is one, who immigrated to Canada in 2009. In this paper, I am going to analyze my observation about Mrs. Ghimire, a 78 years old widow woman, who came to Canada in 2011 and is living with her son, daughter-in-law and two grand children in a two-bed room rented apartment. She was sponsored to Canada by her son after her husband passed away in 2010. She is a religious Hindu woman. I know her from the first day when she came to
Jennifer’s parents moved from Italy to Canada prior to her birth and her father spent many years working two jobs in order to make ends meet. He eventually got a construction job at a company called John Mansville and subsequently successfully ran his own construction business for several years. In order for her father to make more money and improve his employment situation, the family moved several times around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) when she was very young. Miles Corak’s study illustrates that each time a child moves houses, their level of income later in life decreases by about $1,000 (Corak 2000, pp.140). However, Jennifer now works in a managerial position where it is difficult to believe she was, in any way, affected by the moving of houses when she was young.
This is really good because it shows that we have a good healthcare system, and the population in Canada is more likely to increase than decrease. Canada compared to Nigeria is very high in life expectancy. Nigeria 's life expectancy is 54/52 years which means that people in Nigeria aren 't expected to live for long. Canada is also high in primary school enrollment, which is 100%/99%. This is really high compared to pakistan 's primary school enrollment, which is
