Personal Perspectives Although deforestation has an impact on the economy in a global and national scale, it can also impact the economy in a smaller and more personal scale. (Personal, N.p). Deforestation takes and ruins land, which animals can inhabit and the biodiversity of the area will be destroyed or people inhabit the place in which the homes and source of income will be taken away from them. This leads to the people who previously lived in the area to work with the deforestation companies and become employees.

In Canada, the rate of deforestation will continue to stay low while it increases the number of jobs and trade as the forest industry continues to get bigger and benefit the economic growth. This is because the deforestation rate in Canada has always been low since they are excellent at managing the forest industry having a balance of deforesting and reforesting land in order to enjoy the benefits the forest industry provides for generations to come. In Columbia the government will continue to rapidly increase the rate of deforestation in order to be part of the international trade market. While being one of the consumers which increases the demand for products with ingredients from forests, I see now the only reason the companies have reason undertake deforestation is to fulfill the demand of the consumers. I have learnt that deforestation has a huge effect on the economy of a country, and the personal economy and gotten a new perception in order to protect the forests. Now I notice that deforestation impacts not only the lifestyle of the people, but changes the government of that country which makes the lives of the people harder or easier. I think that the voices of the people should be heard and the governments such as the Indonesian government should take their bling eye of how much damage deforestation is causing to their country’s economy as well as the environmental health.
