Leadership, as per my understanding, could mean leading others to rediscover themselves by providing guidance, not through what-to-do lists, so they would reach the necessary urge to reach a better state personally and professionally. During Dorsch employment, I have noticed great potentials in my colleague; I convinced him to switch jobs from a drafting person to a civil engineer, by presenting the textbooks and resources needed, guiding him along the transition phase and by presenting, through examples, how easily could be the learning process and transition. Along my career, I lead my colleagues to produce integrated solutions, by creating the urge to know the answers of different what-if scenarios for their solutions; I bring textbooks and tools to convince them; I present examples of what should be done, the benefits of efforts done and the consequences of careless isolated solutions. Not only one colleague now is persuading her dreams by studying post graduate in Netherlands, but also she got an award to be distinguished;
Activities that train workers serve as a support system of an organization so that the latter will have an effective performance appraisal. Through this, the performance of the workers is measured and that the same time, their efficacy improved. According to Duggan (2016), having an effective performance appraisal enables an organization to efficiently manage how decisions are made. Also, problems with regard performance are addressed, costly mistakes are reduced, and the strategic goals of the organization are achieved. In order to properly execute performance appraisals, it is important to base it on the goals of the organization (Lawer, Benson & McDermott, 2012).

INTRODUCTION Human resource management is the strategic approach to the management of an organization 's most valued assets - the people working there who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the goals of the business (Armstrong, M., 2006). I believe I am a great fit for the Human Resource Development Minor program. Although I am closer to graduating than most applicants, I believe it is important to explore my options before it is too late. I have developed an interest in human resources and would prefer to gather experience now rather than wait until later in my professional career. The Human Resource Development Minor program will allow me to determine if I could possibly have a future in Human Resources.
ZHANG Shiyuan_HRM Human Recourse Management fascinates for me for the dynamism and challenge that it provides. A vital cog in the machinery of any business to maximize employee productivity, it is an interdisciplinary field relevant to the knowledge in policies and industries, business environment, organizational culture, essential skills in negotiation and leadership. I am hugely interested in grasping HRM knowledge for further integration with strategy consulting and management, which will be essential for establishing my career path. My first degree in International Communication Studies, which places great emphasis on analytical and highly interdisciplinary approach, has cultivated me with the literacy of communication, a significant quality needed for a practitioner in media and culture.

Wage Wars Protecting our basic civil rights in the United States is a recognizable value that all citizens want to obey or carry out. Civil rights are rooted on the idea of any citizen not receiving equal or fair treatment compared to the people around them. Although this is true, a major issue in today’s society that I have discovered revolves around the difference in gender equality and the gender wage gap in the workforce. Some people believe that females are not as capable as males causing a flux in the wages paid for the same job, however this is a stereotype that needs to be exterminated.
