HOW TO CITE SOURCES?

It is significant that you identify in your research paper when you are using the words or ideas of another author. The most preferred way of acknowledging the work of another author is to use a referencing system. The Harvard referencing system is the most frequently used style of referencing and is also known as the Author-Date style. It emphasizes the name of the author of a piece of information and the date of publication, with the list of references in alphabetical order at the end of your piece of work.
The following guide tells you why you need to use a referencing system, shows you how to include references in the text of your assignments/ research works, and shows you how to compile a reference list.
