Introduction to cadherin:
You may ask yourself what is cadherin? The word cadherin are comes from calcium dependent adhesion which is one type of transmembrane proteins. Cadherin has an important role in attachment of the cells inside the tissues together. Cadherin undergo many changes and modification and they synthesis as polypeptide to become proteins that are functions as cell to cell attachment and recognizing. The size of their polypeptides are between720 to 750 amino acids. Each cadherin are including a small cytosol part, transmembrane part and lots of proteins outside of its cell. More than 80 kinds of cadherin are founded in human body. Cadherin has function as receptor and also ligands of different molecules. Two of the important role of cadherin’s are to make separate different layers of tissues and help movement of the cells when they are in the process of developing.
About E-cadherin:
One of the most important type of cadherin is …show more content…

E-cadherin has the major effect in the breast cancer cell. In the normal cells of the breast we can find high amount of the E-cadherin but in the cancer cells of the breast it is very low. Biologists are knowing E-cadherin as an invasion suppressor genes. These means, E-cadherin has a major role in restraining the attack of cancer cells. In the other words, E-cadherin can stop cancer cells to produce and becoming more and more. Based on our experiment any mutations in E-cadherin and any negative or abnormal E-cadherin can effects on breast. Also we learned from that experiment that these unusual E-cadherin can affect other organs. Based on how much proteins are produced and how much E-cadherin are reduced we can identify the mutation and abnormal E-cadherin. One reasons to explain for increasing these abnormal E-cadherin can be the rearrangement of chromosomes and the changes in the factors that are
