2.4.1 Convention site selection criteria
According to Ritchie & Crouch (1998), Convention site selection factors included eight main categories of influenced the choice of the site on convention by organizers, which includes: Accessibly, Local Support, Extra- conference opportunities, Accommodation Facilities, Meeting Facilities, Information, Site Environment and Other Criteria.
Accessibly: included the convenience, time and barriers. For example: the frequency and the cost of connections to the site, the travel formalities of visas etc. Saving the time and cost are the organizer most concern.
Local Support: included the government and other association support, such as the government funding on MICE development

The elements included: marketing, pricing, facilities and attractions. This strategic approach of link-up these elements good for better management of the destination. These management can help to reduce the duplication of working process. For example: business support, visitor services, promotion etc. Effective destination management can help the destinations to maximize tourism value for visitors while ensuring local benefits and sustainability. There are five positive impacts of effective destination management:
1) Spreading the benefits of tourism: Tourism expenditure benefits to support and promote the small business development and offer the experiential tourism or exploring the potential of industry.
2) Improving tourism yield:
Contributing to an improved return on investment and yield per visitor by the effective destination management. Because of the targeted marketing can extend the visitor length of stay and increase the visitors expenditure.
3) Ensuring tourism sustainability:
Effective destination management can create the sustainable destination and ensures the nature resources and environment are protected. Also, it can help to reduce the social and cultural conflicts, maintain the local traditions lifestyle.
4) Establishing a competitive

Animal-testing is the use of non-human animals in research and development projects, especially for purposes of determining the safety of substances, such as foods, beauty products, and/or drugs. Although animal research plays a crucial role in experiments focused on disease treatments and preventions, it is cruel, inhumane, and should be stopped. This is an act that should be banned and prohibited in all states and countries
Sustainability and Responsibility imply that tourism resources and attractions should be utilised in such a way that their subsequent use by future generations is not compromised, according to UNWTO. Basically, Tourism could be defined as people travelling to a destination for recreation, leisure or business outside the place of residency. Travels can be to destinations that are international or domestic. If residents travel only within their country is considered domestic tourism.

Competitors: Walmart’s strategy of providing products at a very low price, affected the consumers in the economic crisis of 2008. This led to Target’s decline in market share as Wal-Mart had a huge micro environment affect as a competitor.
It is true that animal testing requires a lot of investment. Not only that money is spent on advanced technologies, it is also spent to pay for scientists’ expertise on this particular field. In order for the scientists to do their research, they need suitable equipment and substances. Every year, the National institutes of Health finances between $12 billion to $14.5 billion on animal testing as indicated in a study done by the government (Bastach, 2013). Besides, scientists need to consider the fact that animals need to be sheltered, fed and cared for to keep them alive.
Therefore, tourism may be defined as the activities, processes and outcomes by the relationship and interaction among the tourist, government, suppliers of the tourism, the host communities and the environment that surrounding the destination which involved in attracting and accommodating of the visitors (Goeldner & Ritchie, 2009). According to Goelner & Ritchie (2009), there are four different perspectives of tourism can be identified from the tourist, business operator who providing goods and services, government of the host destination area and the local community. The first group is the tourists or visitors. They are the group who search for various travel experiences and satisfaction physically and psychologically.
Tourism can be considered one of the most significant economic and social phenomena of the twentieth and twenty-first century. The evolving of the tourist’s behavior has triggered a series of changes in the way of operating the tourism businesses. From traditional travel agencies, hotels and airlines up to the online tour operators. All tour operators have had to adapt to the changes of the individual as a traveler and this has led to continuous development of strategies by the agents.
