It’s hard not to let it get to you but it happens so often that i’ve learned to shrug it off. I take criticism a lot better now because my goals are often criticized, I can take that judgement and not think of it because the thought of reaching my goals motivates me to reach further and make them go deeper. I also am able to see to experience a lot of new things that I wouldn 't even know exist because of what i want to do with my life. Having big ambitions has kept my eyes open to opportunities outside of my comfort zone. I went to New York City to attend seminars for fashion as well as various workshops because I had done such extensive research and stumbled upon this fascinating opportunity is nothing i’d be able to do or even know about if I hadn 't had such extensive goals.

With the amount of time we all have on this world, it is our job to do the best as we possibly can, so dream big. Be ambitious, be filled with ideas, be a believer because that is what humans are. Who knows what American would be like if the Founding Fathers of the United States did not dream big. Who would have wrote and sung the classic “Jolene” and “Coat of Many Colors” if it was not for the aspiring Dolly Parton?

Setting goals have always helped me achieve my highest potential.
While material success is still a part that defines the dream, the most important foundation of the dream lies in self-satisfaction. Life will be better and richer and fuller for each person if they choose
However, I challenge you to avoid resting on your laurels and instead to keep striving to achieve even loftier goals. Right now, you have no idea, you can’t even begin to imagine, what you are ultimately capable of accomplishing. Dream big, imagine, challenge, push boundaries, never settle, never give up. Dream big.

Setting smaller goals is nice because they are like stepping stones to my bigger goals. The reason I am so motivated to go to college is because I have the opportunity to be the first in my family to attend college. Seeing my parents struggle with money because they can’t get a decent paying job is one of the reasons I desire to go to college. I know by going to college, and doing what I love, I will be able to enjoy what I’m doing while being able to have a improved life than I had experienced.
