Communication and etiquette - oral communication comes with the speaker and his / her body language / voice, style and manner. Personnel appearance, behavior and conduct can enhance or more a person’s oral communication. Knowledge and practice of good manners and proper etiquette is necessary for making once a communication pleasant and effective. In business, etiquette is the art of being comfortable around others and making others comfortable around you. Basic knowledge and practice of etiquette helps a person to be socially acceptable to others and create good impression when one meets someone for the purpose of business. Many people who are good at their jobs and upwardly mobile are handicap by business etiquettes and social skills that are needed to move higher positions.
