For Vietnam Veteran Skip Merrick, the display is more than just names on a wall, it's friends, it's brothers, it's sisters. "It's an honor for us guys who did come home to protect the name, to protect the wall and say hello to comrades who didn't come home," explains Merrick who served aboard the USS Enterprise in Vietnam in 1969. For the next five days, the traveling replica of the Vietnam Veteran Memorial in Washington DC, will be in Hornell next to the Arkport Cycles store. After we had heard about the lake once we kept hearing about it more and more. Nothing ever said about the lake was bad, so my mom decided to look it up. From the pictures it seemed like a super fun vacation spot so we decided to book a lake house and try it out! We were almost to Smith Lake and we ride across this huge bridge over the lake. The pictures from the internet were beautiful but, seeing the lake in person was awesome.
