When Clemenceau was appointed as senator of war he showed key traits in being a viable leader. During the time of Frances political crisis they waited for a man of character to rise up and take action. France looked toward Clemenceau whose loyalty, foresight, and moral force drove him. In his leading position, Clemenceau later consented to form a new political cabinet in succession of the Painleve ministry. Author Georges Lecomte states how Clemenceau’s understanding of his people allowed him to create the cabinet.
When my friend recommended that I should be a part of the team, I did research on what the team did in the college community and instantly wanted to be a part of this ground-breaking team. I feel like communication skills and being comfortable with many views are both great necessary qualities to have when dealing with a diverse college campus. I am very open minded and respect other people’s views even though they might not agree with my views. I possess great social skills and find myself very personable. I get along well with multiple different people which I think would be a great addition to the counseling team.
I would recommend it to anyone thinking about transferring. It was beneficial to me and I learned new things about schools I’ve already been to. The transfer fair was a great experience for me and I am glad that I was able to attend
Political culture is the psychology of the nation in regard to politics. It refers to historically-based, widely-shared beliefs, feelings, and values about the nature of political systems, which can serve as a link between citizens and government. It differs from public opinion. It changes over time but it changes slowly. Alexis De Tocqueville was a french writer and an early observer of the American political culture during 1830 's.
France was also one of them and it was inevitable for French cinemas at that time to act as a mirror of the French society. Culture, social life, alienation of the younger generation along with loneliness and confusion of identity were all spread and penetrated into most of the French New Wave films. Among them, the vast spreading consumerism (and how this affected the individuals), and the importance of the roles of institutions were the aspects of the French society that were focused on in this piece of paper, during this particular time period analyzed through the works of three different directors. The films of Breathless (À bout de souffle), Cléo from 5 to 7 (Cléo de 5 à 7), and The 400 Blows (Les quatre cents coups) encouraged the audience to identify with these state values and social atmosphere that were prevailing from the mid 1950s to the mid 1950s
Being a Senator for my class means representing and bringing to the table an attitude conductive to making a positive change. I would love to be involved in the decision-making process that impacts all aspects of being a Knox student. Throughout the years, I have continuously added more responsibilities on my plate; becoming Senator will allow me to truly take a step into a position that will help everyone. My ideas for student senate range from taking a good look into the housing conditions of Seymour Hall and other buildings, better peer mediation, and more. I will be looking forward to working with all of you reading this now if I get elected as Senator for the Class of 2019.
I like to make my community a place where people can get along and that it is comfortable for at least most people since not everyone will be like that. I like to be involved in various clubs, activity, etc. It gets me moving up and about on my feet. Also, I can time manage all the clubs that I am in, the activities outside of school, the school itself carefully and very efficient. I believe I should be a member of the National Junior Honor Society Chapter team for various reasons, such as I can demonstrate leadership, have work experience, a "people person" and my involvement for F. Niel Postlethwait Middle School and more.
Below the drawing of my pet bunny and the wooden cottage house is a Fleure de Lis. This flower is associated with the Monarchy of France and is on the Québec flag. This symbolises my interest in learning the French language. I plan on taking French for all four years of high school and I hope to extend my knowledge on the language after high
By applying for PEARL at Keio University, I plan to gain further insight into the topic. Rather than other universities around the world, I wish to apply for Keio University in Japan because PEARL provides a welcoming atmosphere for foreign students. As an international student, attending Keio University is a good opportunity to meet other international students and learn more about Asia. Having been to numerous international schools, I value the experience of meeting different people. I believe it’s a chance to learn about different cultures and develop into a well-rounded person as well.
Furthermore, i love the feeling I get when I explore new ideas, histories, beliefs, and scenarios. It not only increases my knowledge, but also helps me overcome problems that I am dealing with. I get to experience life’s problems, pleasures, and I come out of my personal bubble to become a better person by exploring new cultures. Travelling is my passion because it’s something that I am not afraid to chase after. I get to learn more and more about myself and I am able to expand my horizons every time I travel.
