Handball, Basketball, Volleyball and floorball are indoor games like futsal. The number of the players differ from on sport to another, in soccer there are eleven players, but in Volleyball and Floorball there are six players and these number of players is more than futsal which have only five players same as basketball. The number of players is mostly affected by the size of the field, for instance the size of futsal field is 38-42m x 20-25m which is smaller than soccer field size which is 100-110m x 64-75m and this is a reason of having less number of players in futsal. Basketball have smaller field than futsal, yet it have the same number of the players. Both of Handball and Floorball have same size o field 40 x 20 m which is nearly same size of the futsal, the size of Volleyball field is 9m x 18m and there is a special thing in volleyball which is the height of the net for men is 243cm and for women 224cm. The duration of the games can be the same for some sports but it may differ in the periods for example Futsal and soccer have two halves, but each half in Futsal is 20 minutes and in soccer 45 minutes. In Basketball the duration of the game is same as futsal but the difference is that they are playing the game in four periods. Each half of floorball is 20 minutes but it has three periods not two like futsal. Handball is playing in two periods like futsal …show more content…
The passing exercise is important to learn the basic skills for the futsal and if the students wanted to learn how to play futsal they need to start training from the zero, for that reason the exercise started by playing passes to other players without moving and the level of the exercises become harder by making them playing with the weak foot or by playing pass with one touch only. With that exercise the students have to demonstrate different techniques of passing for example pass with inner or outer or instep side of the foot. To learn more skills the students had to play passes between cones while moving from one side to another, the same method were used for the second exercise also which is making them play with the weaker foot. The level of the exercise increased by making them passing and moving faster, so they improver the skill of passing and receiving in
These dimensions, combined with the type of ball each sport uses, results in batters having roughly the same amount of time to react to the ball (at the professional level). Softballs do not travel as fast as baseballs because of their size, but the shortened distance makes hitting a softball just as hard as hitting a
Football started as a game played on college campuses without pads and was very violent (Buckley 6). Walter changed the rules so the team who had possession would have three downs to gain five yards to keep possession of the ball (Madden 7). I B. Football has changed through the years in many ways. The linemen have
They thought through the idea and finally got it. The boys said, “ Let’s take off our shoes.” So, all the teammates took off their boots and socks and started playing. As the boys were playing their footwork got really intense because they were playing on the small pitch before. Since, their footwork got really good it must have been so much more easier for them to play because they were practicing on the small, little pitch before.
First, Newton’s Law of Inertia was present in the game when the ball was at rest or being passed. To start, the Law of Inertia is that an object will continue to be at rest until a net force acts upon it, which accelerates the object. Likewise, an object that is moving will continue to move until a force stops the object. At the beginning of the game, two midfielders take the draw to
There are different terms such as the position of player which can be striker, defender, goalkeeper, center back etc., formations of teams (such as 4-4-2 and 4-3-3, , which tell us the number of defenders, midfielders and strikers in that order), and the actions on the field (for example, Airball- when the ball is airborne, Banana Kick- a strategic kick to angle the ball around an obstacle, Nutmeg- to pass the ball between a player's legs, etc), and consequences of actions such as foul, penalty, free kick, handball. There are also non verbal gestures in soccer. These include pointing to an opponent to indicate to a teammate to cover them, arm straight up during the play to indicate to the player with the ball that you are open for a pass, point to where you want the ball to be delivered,
As a result, the coach had to withdraw him from the game. I agree with the author that such pressures can affect the health of a child. Therefore, the sports should not be about exerting such pressures rather they should be about improving a child’s health. The author puts forth the idea that the through drills and the training schedules make sports a ‘job-like’ activity for the children.
