In life there are normally two types of people, people who make stuff happen and people who want to make things happen but never make them happen. Some of the most successful people in life are people who set goals for themselves and try to accomplish that goal or come close to that goal. They do this to make themselves feel better and say to that they have accomplished things in life. Goals can be long term or short term just depends what you want the outcome to be. But there is more to the goal part than just setting the goal. Goals take time and dedication honestly. Time periods may take weeks, months, or possibly even years just all depends on what the goal is and what you are trying to accomplish. Many will set goals in life and want to achieve them, but the people who make who strive are the people who stay focused and motivated, the ones who believe, and the ones who have a technique to help them. People putting objectives in their life gives them a road to take and be successful, but also helps make the goal clearer and gives them the motivation needed. Recognition of a goal helps that person get closer to the objective they want to achieve, but also give them the motivation they need to push them to that goal they are trying to achieve. As stated by an unknown author, “Success is something earned. It is something worthwhile. It comes only to those that are dedicated and committed to their goals.” I want a successful life, one I can look back on and say was earned and worthwhile. I plan to get to success through setting goals and making a path towards my future.
You can't just sit there and do nothing and expect your goals to be achieved. You have to work hard for what you want. You always have to be doing something to achieve your goals. Let's use another example. Let's say someone wants to get a career of becoming a teacher.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Throughout my life I have always set goals and worked extremely hard to achieve them. Planning realistic goals give me clarity on what I ultimately want. It makes me crystallize and articulate the desires floating in my mind. Setting goals have always helped me achieve my highest potential.

I’ve been told by a lot of people that if you don’t believe then you’re not going to do something good. I have a hard time believing in myself, but I think if I keep on trying to believe then I will go far in life. Proving to myself would help boost up my confidence and help me prove to myself that I will do well in this world. That I will be who/ what I want to be. I one mission besides proving to myself and others is to do something that I am going to enjoy
You may also fantasize about the positive outcomes when you achieve it. This causes you to work hard and put a lot of effort toward achieving that goal. When someone willing to work hard, he or she will achieve more. If that person
There is nothing wrong with having goal and achieving them as long as it is done in to correct and proper manner. Many people are willing to spare no expense just to get what they want. Unfortunately, many of them find the outcome to be just and challenging as the journey along the way. Succeeding and overachieving does come at a cost, which is not always in monetary form. Some of those costs include sense of reality, family, marriage, relationships, friendships, and most importantly spiritually.

I am a firm believer in achieving my goals because I know that they will reflect on my future. At times, I may fail but I do not let that stop me from trying. Instead, I let it teach me a lesson and push myself even harder to do better the next
Institutions of higher education in the United States have increased emphasis on matriculating student bodies representing a wide range of social classes. Though the diversity of students has increased, the achievement gap between students of low socioeconomic status and their peers persists (Stephens, Fryberg, Markus, Johnson, and Covarrubias, 2012a). Stephens et al. (2012a) attribute a portion of this achievement gap to a cultural mismatch model, based on their finding that more than 80% of administrators from first-tier American colleges and universities classified the culture of their institutions as more independent than interdependent.
Realistically, some goals are never going to be achieved. Obstacles occur in the everyday life that we as people can not fix. Most goals can be accomplished with dedication and persistence, but when it comes to goals people need to be realistic about what they want to accomplish. The goals that people set are not always able to be attained due to some people making goals that are to impractical or too far fetched to be completed.
"Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible", (Tony Robbins). This indicates striving to be successful even if it means failure. I plan on achieving my main goal so I can have a bright future in my career path. In order to achieve my life goal, I have already begun to work towards my goal and I plan to continue with an organized plan. Both short-term and long-term goals will help me set a better understanding of a successful future.
A fitness goal setting is an important process before embarking onto any weight loss activities. Many people have tried different weight loss programs, but could not reach their wanted fitness level. Some lost the motivation along the way, some got injured and others stopped few days before starting. Usually, this happens because they lacked necessary planning, proper actions and the biggest reason they want to be fit. Actually, setting a fitness goal is easier than you think.
(Salancik & Pfeffer, 1977) a study found that the use of the “word” goal indicates to an individual that a task is achievable. This study stresses the use of the word “goal” has a positive impact on motivation, a point held by the goal setting theory. This could therefore be applied to my EPP experience with the use of the word goal being used to describe objectives and aspirations of the organisation. However, within my time at the organisation goal setting theory was not always described as goals we needed to achieve, this may have intern limited the possible motivation given to tasks. Some goals set were not being achieved, which counters goal setting theories stance on setting achievable goals.
