If we educators show that children have a sense of belonging, children will feel more confident and build more safe relationship with everyone. We should also encourage children to keep using their own language so that it’s not lost and learn to speak English at the same time.
Intrinsically, many will be thinking about the pros of living at harmony within diversity being fully achieved, such as zero racism, abstinence of gender inequality, a place where everyone will start holding hands while singing Kumbaya, a place where the hippies will come out of hiding and rule the world with an iron first, and that would be exaggeration to it's finest. Nonetheless, there are bad effects of living at "harmony within diversity", such as the terror caused by one's mindset. One can control the physical actions of man, but not their mindset. There will always be prejudice, and the skepticism will increase, which will sadly result in a civil malaise. No one said that living in harmony could actually produce zero issues, instead there will be issues with your own inner turmoils, but let's face it, this is reality.
Good communication, respect and tolerance is key to live in harmony because we are living in multicultural world. We must proud about our civilization but not reject other civilization and see others as our partners not enemy or our competitor by having this perspective we don’t see ourselves as superior but equals. We must respect and realized that every individual are have right to choose their religion and not being discriminated not making barriers and
Diversity is a variety of ways in which people differ and the various means in which people live their lives as individuals, in addition to living amongst a wider community (Mhathúna & Taylor, 2012). Equality is about treating people in a manner whereby the outcome for each person can be similar. Equality is closely linked to diversity, by recognising, accepting and respecting it. Inclusion provides support to all children so that their experience in an educational setting encourages them to be as involved and independent as possible (Mhathúna & Taylor, 2012). Both parents and providers can support inclusion by being enthusiastic in their practices and ensuring that barriers to full participation are checked.
Diversity can mean many things. The definition itself is a form of diversity. However, it means the differences a group of people or even countries. Diversity can be grouped by human context, business context and the list goes on. In this day and age, harmony within diversity has an important role to play.
I personally feel that if a teacher can’t accept others, they are in the wrong career field. Lastly, implementing multicultural outlooks into curriculum planning and classroom management skills is key for success. This will help other children experience diverse cultures in learning centers and activities. Demonstrating good character and accepting others shows children at a young age to respect and acknowledge other people, despite any differences they may have. The teacher plays a key role in the development of this
How would you define diversity? The description of diversity is the perceptive that each individual is unique and also the individual can be expected in different categories. These can be along the element of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, physical abilities, religious beliefs, or other ideologies. It is the travelling around of these differences in a safe, affirmative and fostering environment. Diversity is all about on understanding each other and moving ahead of simple tolerance to support and celebrating the well-off dimensions of diversity limited within each individual.
Children do know what they would like to learn, and all they need is some guidance instead of strict rules and restrictions. In my dream world everyone helps others in the fields they are good at. Children are not pushed into kindergartens and schools from young age – they stay with their parents, who have found jobs which support their lifestyle, and let them keep their children by their side. Families with similar outlook on life can form communities, where they live and work in harmony. Family and community have a big role in children’s lives, teaching them how to live in mutual cooperation.
Diversity to me is many different facets of culture and with in these cultures we have different views and beliefs. Diversity means we are all equal but not the same. These differences are very important to understand but should not be used to predict a person’s value. I see myself as representing a form of diversity by being a black woman in a predominately white community. I feel I bring diversity pretty much everywhere I go.
Diversity is one of the most discussed issues in the modern world. People have come to appreciate that they are distinct and unique in their own way. Relationships between humans provide connection through diversity. Globalization has further proven the importance of appreciating our diversity as it has opened the world to more interactions. The most critical aspect is to bring workable structures within our societies to ensure that all distinct parts are working in a complementary manner.
