According to Google search, harmony, which is the synonym of peacefulness is defined as a condition which is free from disturbances and not involving war nor violence. Now, I am going to ask you a simple question. Just close your eyes for a moment and tell me, what is the first image that comes to your mind when the word “harmony” is mentioned? Do you picture a contented environment where our society lives joyously and in unity? Or perhaps the image of humans interacting on a fine sunny day while listening to the melodious sound of the birds chirping in a pollution free environment? Now those are the pictures that should be brought into reality. In this modernised era that we live in, our world does face predicaments such as terrorism attacks, nuclear bombing and many more. Therefore, it is arduous to achieve a harmonious state, regardless of any part of the world that you are living in. However, I strongly believe in the quote when there is a will, there is a way. We could always prevent issues like these from getting out of hands, only when harmony is being nurtured and cherished in our present society.
Harmony within diversity must be nurtured and cherished in order to create a peaceful environment. This moral value should be instilled in every human being at a young age. When every individual interacts with each other harmoniously, then misconceptions and arguments would be lessened or may not even occur, thus creating an environment that is at peace. However, the
