In the first stanza, she refers to the nature. She described the “free bird” was cheerfully flying in the sky. The way it “leaps on the back of the wind” expressed the freedom and relish of the bird. She also described how the bird flew against “the orange suns rays” and it has the rights “to claim the sky.” Angelou described “the orange suns rays” to emphasize the appreciation of the bird for the natural beauty. Her description of the way the bird “dip his wing” helps the readers to acknowledge the “free bird” in his habitat and to feel his enjoyment of freedom.
The romantics always favored nature over order. Nature has not been altered by reason; it is pure. This idea is clearly shown in this poem through the various similes and metaphors almost all of which have to do with nature. The skylark, the “cloud of fire”, the “golden lining of the sunken sun”, the “purple evening”, the “stars of heaven”, etc. Shelly makes very little mention of anything man-made.
Point of View The fitting description of turtle beach is “beautiful scenery.” The best decision I have made so far today seems to have been coming here. Sitting while watching love-birds walk past me, holding each other’s arms and young couples struggling to keep their hands away from their partners but ending up losing the battle makes me forget the stress I had earlier in the day. The beach is clean and less crowded; I guess the silence has really proven to be medicine when I needed it most. There are two small children playing not very far from where I am sitting. The way they enjoy playing in the white, powdery sand makes me look back with a lot of nostalgia how I enjoyed my early days.
The idea of Harmony often connects with the idea of peace. Till to modern, it is then related to the sense of security which also has separated from the military defence for security and connected with social well-being as a whole. The definition of peace is a situation in which people are pleasant and do not cause trouble without wars among countries or groups. It may be similar to a religious harmony with no worries. As for the concept of harmony is a situation in which people live and work well with other people, or in a way that does not damage things around them, as well as the attractive effect that is created when objects, colours, etc.
These things all have a great impact on the setting of the book. The references made to nature throughout the novel affect the characters mood. “The very winds whispered in soothing accents, and maternal nature bade me we know more” (77). This quotation from the book shows the impact that nature expressed to Victor that made him feel relieved and happy. “My spirits were elevated by the enchanting and parents of nature; the past was blotted from my memory, the presence was tranquil, and the future gilded by bright rays of hope and anticipations of joy” (96).
Every single word in her songs was very sensual, and every single note was very careful thought out, like in these lines: Well I wish I could be like a bird in the sky How sweet it would be If I found I could fly I 'd soar to the sun And look down at the sea And I sing 'cause I know How it feels to be free Her songs most of all are about the Counterculture movement and about how all men should be free from the war and from prejudice. I wish you could know What it means to be me Then you 'd see and agree That every man should be free She wrote a lot of songs about women 's rights,in
My opinion in this matter is that, the young couple must discover ways to establish a boundary that separates them from future children, parents and outsiders. This does not mean that parents should be excluded from every decision or arguments, but if parents always step in to settle arguments between the couple, they won’t learn to fight their own battles. This is significant because “healthy families boundaries are enough to protect independence and autonomy, and permeable enough to allow mutual support and affection.”(Michael & Richard, 2004,
But, when we stop thinking, we will understand that we are united in this universe. Harmony within diversity must be nurtured and cherished because it is the first step toward the equality within diversity. This is how we will not over confident to ourselves and already think that we are the best and start learn from the
Family members with special needs are an exception, in which case all other family members ought to be sensitized to the condition of the individual in need of special care and attention in order for equal contribution from all family members in that individual’s care. Spouses should not unnecessarily prioritize their children over each other, nor should they neglect their children by focusing all their attention and energy in sustaining their marital relationship. A fine balance needs to be struck in an effort to establish and sustain relational equality in all familial relationships and produce a harmonious home and family environment. 2. Mutual respect: In order to co-habit a shared space, respect between family members is of utmost importance.
It does not imply negation of diversity. There may be certain kinds of diversity which create discord but all kinds of diversity are not inimical to harmony. So, harmony in human relations in the present day world is possible to a great extent if the basic components of harmony, namely, love, proper communication, spirit of co-existence, tolerance, etc are there. Harmony occupies the most important place in human life. In the article, Importance of Harmony in Life (2014) by Dr. Ravindra Kumar, states that, Harmony is the ambrosia of life with co-operation, co-ordination and consent being foremost features, in the absence of which life cannot go on appropriately and smoothly.
