My second assignment will be discussing and analyzing the source of information. In the first part, I will be identifying critical review of literature and writing notes about it. In the second part, I will be mentioning about referencing and sorting its styles. In the last part, I will be adding my point of view and will be ending my assignment with conclusions and references.
A literature review is defined as a procedure of collecting information from sources and document it. Additionally, it can come in many forms and categories such as studying deeply in a specific area of research in order to come out with great results. The first stage is to make an early review in order to begin the context and rationale for the area you study, then confirm your selection of research focus and question. Also, you need to ask yourself about discipline and issues that you are going to define in literature review and "taking notes of important issues and highlight them" (Donald, 2013). The second stage is research duration, which requires much time to find relevant research to your topic. In this stage, your supervisor should help you to combine between ideas you selected and relevant literature. Most of professors in school set a weekly meeting in order to review where a student is at now. Critical Thinking Task #3 Question 1 addresses the thoughts and feelings of Larry Jackson, who is an attorney. Research papers require a lot of critical thinking, planning, and research. First, one needs an interesting topic. Then, one needs at least one critical reading strategy to analyze the literary works in the topic. Finally, one needs to do preliminary research and write a basic thesis statement.
