Motivation is very important to a company. Motivation is the processes that account for an individual’s intensity, direction, and persistence of effort toward attaining a goal. But, the level of motivation varies both between individuals and within individuals at different times. So, it is important for a company to motivate and maintain the motivation of employees in a high level in order to have a good job performance, high job satisfaction and high productivity. The lowest level of hierarchy is physiological needs, in this level the needs for employees is salary, stable employment, food, and water. It means that the company should pay the salary to employees in order to let they fulfill their basic needs such as buy the groceries, pay the loan, transportation fee and so on. On the other hands, the company should not delay handing over the salary to employees.
