I feel like a career in psychology would be rewarding too. After interviewing Mrs. Cloonan I am still interested in the field of psychology, but still not positive it is the major I want to peruse. While talking to Mrs. Cloonan I was provided with lots of helpful information. To start, I learned that I would be able to stick to my plan of earning a bachelor degree. Although, it would be more beneficial to attend school an extra two years and graduate with a master’s
With this I believe I have gained tremendous success and pay off from the avenues I have chosen to apply myself. While they may be taken for granted by others I appreciate the reward of having gained endless support and acknowledgement from my peers and superiors,
I will be a first-generation college student next fall, and I know that I will be successful because I have always been able to overcome the obstacles I face. The challenge of moving to a new country, struggling to survive, and learn a new language have all led to who I am today, and for that, I feel I am a better person. Your investment in me today will certainly help bring a brighter future for me
Such a role would give me the opportunity to thoroughly involve in marketing and business strategy executions and to drive business process excellences within the company. Furthermore, this career’s chapter will help me to achieve my long-term goal – becoming a CEO in a major multi-national company. Being drifted away by the pace of working life and pursuit of career advancement in almost sixteen years of employment, I have unwittingly pulled away from attempting a further education. It is such a dilemma that in every career improvement that I have accomplished, the need for knowledge enhancement and latest best practice references has become my primary concern in relation to the prerequisite professional skills that I have to obtain to support my duties. Two years ago, I realized that I should immediately go back to university and acquire a higher degree to be in favor on my future career leap.
It is through my own efforts that I was able to have a successful high school career and attend college despite opposition. Such diligence is the result of struggles with abuse and severe depression. I’m not very used to being helped with even my most basic problems. The idea of having a mentor willing to help me through the most difficult period in my life is a very new one. Even more important would be the support after I graduate from college.
At the age of fourteen, I was accepted into an Early College High School that has allowed me to take dual credit courses since my freshman year of high school. By the time I graduate high school, I will already have my college associate degree that I will have earned through my hard work and dedication. Even though I went through a lot at such a young age, it has shaped me in every possible way. I was exposed to a whole different language and culture, but I was able to succeed through my strong desire of success and dedication. I am thankful for every challenge that I had to go through because if it was not for them, I would not be the person I am
These are things that will help me succeed in my career and make my life a lot easier. Making sure that tasks are done at work and accomplishing them on time might mean a promotion, a gift, or even an increase in pay. This goal fits in with the rest of my life because it does not just go for homework and school but every day I live. I want to do things ahead of time which gives me more time for myself, family, and friends. This goal fits into my career due to all the responsibilities I will have on the job.
Year after year, many young people around the world enter college with a particular degree in mind they would like to pursue. Attending college is one of the first major life transitions of many young adults. Many students who start college never complete his or her studies. By its very nature college work can be very challenging and it can be hard to keep up with academic demand but, by choosing a program that builds on your strengths, managing your time wisely and setting academic goals a successful college completion is destined. Harris (2014) noted, “You will be more successful in college (and in your future occupation) when you focus on what you love to do and what you do best” (p.87).
At this time in our very lives we are planning for the future and making a ladder for ourselves of goals to reach. As you climb higher on the ladder you find yourselves aspiring to take actions that may be more difficult than we imagined. This is just the beginning and we do not give up. As the years come faster I made a list of the things that I am planning on persuing. My major career goal is to go into buisness, and within the buisness industry I want to become a Human Resources Manager.
For me to obtain an internship and possible career I need to have a more defined part of this major that I want to pursue. For me, film and television have always drawn me in. They can make you feel strong emotions for things you aren’t each involved in and deliver important messages in a way that compels people to feel a different way, start to change, or just affects their mode. I would like to work in an industry that is able to
