What is National Bandanna Day?
This is a day set aside to raise funds used to support young people living with cancer. People all over the world are encouraged to fully participate through contributions .It will be held on Saturday 31st October 2015 being the 21st anniversary.
Purpose of National Bandanna Day
The aim of setting aside this day is to assist the young cancer victims have hope in life and live normally. These funds raised help the young to get proper medication hence reducing premature deaths caused by cancer. Everybody is entitled to live a full life to fulfill their desires and make their dreams happen. During this day people are encouraged to live a healthy life by proper feeding, body exercise and staying a life free from stress. This will help to keep off disease and reduce chances of early death, after all no one wants to die prematurely.
What can you do on National Bandanna Day?
To participate during this day you must not be a cancer victim. Everyone is welcome in order to make the young cancer victims feel appreciated by the community at large. You can assist in the sale of the bandannas in order to raise the necessary funds whose target is 1.25 million this year. Cinco de Mayo has been celebrated across the United States and Mexico, but more in the United States with the traditions of parades, mariachi music performers and street festivals. On the other hand, Cinco de Mayo has come to symbolize a day of cultural pride for people of Mexican descent in the United States and beyond. The Mexican in California are said to be the first to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. It is also believed that they celebrated with other Latin Americans since they all spoke Spanish.
Originally, it was called the ‘Foundation Day’ for the land but in 1935, was ‘promoted’ to Australia Day, a day for national unity. However, it didn’t make things much different because the very problematic reasonings remained and ultimately, Australia 's sincere identity still has yet to be seen. Firsty, the use of the celebration will continue to the criticism of being based on a race unless changed to a just substitution. Next, the Australian spirit isn’t truly upholded on this date because of the poor basis that branches out from the past and anyways, many citizens should have no gripe with changing the time and day as it’s not of much interest to be honest. ANZAC Day is not appropriate for the matter and falls under the lists of unfortunate commemorations too.
I see this holiday as a day to look back on Hawaii and its history, to realize the United States importance to Hawaii and finally a day to enjoy the Hawaii Nei.

Declaration of Independence for the Dress Code When issues become prevalent in one place or area, it becomes mandatory for people to disband their scholastic bonds that have affiliated them with one another. To presume along with the powers of this educational institution, there must be some influence from the opinions of humanity that requires the people to declare the reasons that do not obligate them to the dress-code law. Students at Fort Worth Country Day School are gifted with innovative and expressive minds, and convey their individuality with their style. Clothing is an essential way of expressing one’s self, but a school dress code takes away the student’s ability to do so. We the students at Fort Worth Country Day School have suffered as a result of not being permitted to express ourselves, and are declaring independence from the School Dress Code Law.

This holiday is also used to proclaim the Hispanic Heritage of Latin America. It is celebrated in many countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Uruguay. Like other professions in the mental health field and helping professions, counseling typically attracts those who are imbued with a need to help others, to make a difference in others’ lives, the community around them and sometimes even the world. There are many facets to a counselor and to counseling, some of which take on personal attributes such as personality, the values and beliefs held by counselors, and what they perceive their role in the counseling profession to be. Other facets involve ethical considerations in therapy, the importance of the profession, the value and process of change, important counseling practices and the value of necessary self-care a counselor ought to engage in. The role of a counselor is to act as a conduit to change and wellbeing in a client.
Additionally, as a counselor, it is important to be genuine with whatever feedbacks one presents to the patient and what one believes regarding the situation of the client. Mrs. Perez believes the more authentic and genuine he is with her patients, the more help he will be able to offer the clients. As a counselor, it is important to have a fine and professional interaction with one 's client but boundaries must be maintained. Through this, a counselor is able to demonstrate their focus on helping the patients by showing the client that they understand their problems. It also through such engagements that counselor is able to use the non-judgmental attention that does not require words for illustration in helping the patient.
A social worker can help Linda and her family deal with any problems they are having and set up support services to help the family. A psychologist or counsellor will discuss any concerns or problems that might have being happening in the past, and how to improve thing in the future. A doctor can help by monitor Linda’s health throughout her recovery, health care support workers and nurses can educated her on her mental health and wellbeing and provide around the clock care and support. Good team work and communication skills are needed between the MDT to provide the best care for Linda and a proper care plan put in place and updated regularly. Regular meeting between the MDT Linda and her family are need to keep an update her progress.
Firstly, I need to identify the causes and formation of the difficulty situation of my client. I should not involve my own personal emotions when analysing the situation. Next, clarification of the situation is essential. The clients should figure out themselves on how to face the situation. An effective counsellor listen more than talks, and what they do say gives the client a sense of being heard and understood.
Over the past one and half month, the class of PDE 502 (Counselling and Career Education) has taught me some major lessons for life in dealing with the clients in response to their emotional needs. The role of a counsellor is not unlike that of a friend where by it is nurtured by being in each other’s company, talking over everyday issues and sharing feelings. However, what sets a counsellor apart is their experience and the ability to apply counselling theories and techniques to assist people in gaining awareness, insight and explore ways of solving their own issues.
