INTRODUCTION
According to the Mosby’s Medical dictionary, a conceptual framework is a group of concepts that are broadly defined and systematically organized to provide a focus, a rationale, and a tool for the integration and interpretation of information. It is a conceptual structure from which things can be constructed or formulated. This conceptual framework is from block 3 which is entitled as “Organization, planning and staffing”.

A healthcare institution is never complete if nurses are not there to perform their nursing roles. Nurses are always the first people the patients encounter in a health institution and nurses are always there to help the patients meet their needs as well as to recover to the fullest. Nursing services are so vast that there is always need for organization to help nurses perform their roles without much challenges. Organization in nursing services determines how services which include job allocation, coordination and supervision are managed or controlled towards meeting the aims of the health institution. The administrative nurses perform the following roles which include monitoring the nursing services, record keeping and documentation, budgeting, ensuring that nurses work according to the ethics of nursing and regulations of the health institution, keeping inventories etc. while the clinical services include vital sign taking, wound dressing, giving medications and oral care etc. the nursing staff are ranked according to years and level of experience too. As a head nurse, I allocate daily duties for nursing staff and supervise to ensure that the activities are well carried out. I also ensure free flow of nursing services among to relieve burden for nurses and to meet the patients’ needs.
1.4 Current research
According to Louis, organization is the process of identifying and grouping of the works to be performed, defining and delegating responsibility and authority and establishing relationships for the purpose of enabling people to work most efficiently.
Organization is of great importance in nursing services which include;
• Creates effective administration: organization ensures that nursing services are directed towards meeting the goals of the healthcare and enables administrators to plan their services effectively.
• Growth and development of nursing practice: it ensures growth and expansion of nursing practice. With division of labor, more work can be done effectively. New practices
