Chapter 1 The Problem and it’s Background
Introduction
“Effective Teaching is much more than an intuitive process.A teacher must continually make decision and act on those decision” - Cooper 149
Effective teaching strategies is really important in teaching-learning process. All teachers have their own way of how they’ll going to transfer their knowledge to their students. Some are effective, and some are not. Learning of the students also depend on how the teachers will impart the knowledge or skills that they have in different condition as well as the variety of students or learners.
In our teaching course, the attainment that we can make is to create a supportive environment which nourish the physical, emotional, social and

Teachers evaluate the level of academic growth for individual pupils and the classroom as a whole. They might customize teaching methods for certain students and are willing to change strategies that prove unsuccessful. Pedagogical tool in teaching strategies might employ outside resources in the community and hands-on activities as part of the curriculum.
Teachers using this form of teaching typically manage the classroom to provide a safe, supportive, and inspirational environment for student growth. They consider cultural differences that might affect students motivation while creating a learning environment based on fairness and respect. Pedagogical tools aim to improve the teachers to deliver the lessons properly.
Working with parents or guardians represents another aspect of pedagogical tool in teaching strategies, which is considered another resource for student development. Teachers typically meet with parents to gain knowledge of a pupil’s home environment and cultural background. They might inform parents about ways they can help their child gain knowledge and improve

They assess themselves in addition to gauging student progress, and might seek the advice of peers for alternate teaching method. These teachers might attend workshops or seminars to discover new methods of teaching proven to increase student development.
The pedagogic tools in teaching strategies aims to provide opportunities for all students to learn, based on their current skill levels. Teachers adjust lesson plans to address learning styles of individual pupils after assessing their home environment, interests, level of ability, and culture. With the use of pedagogical tools in teaching strategies can foster respect for students from different ethnic backgrounds and religions. Teachers might become creative in devising lessons to keep struggling students from falling behind.
Home Economics educators typically adopt the goal of becoming fully versed in the subject they teach. This might include ongoing education and work with other teachers to stay abreast of the latest research in learning and teaching. These teachers might explore several different ways of sharing knowledge with students, with the use of pedagogical tool to pique pupil
In this practicum I will narrate an interview that was done with a Hispanic parent. I will describe her and her family structure. I will also elaborate on her involvements in her children academics, and teacher parent relationship. Also better ways to encourage parents to get involved in their children education will be added, and how teachers can assist with making the parents feel welcomed inside of the classroom.
I incorporate this learned experience daily and learn through each success and discovered area of improvement. Addressing my students needs using a variety of assessment tools has been a beneficial practice to help guide instruction. Students have different learning styles and their strengths and weaknesses are not always apparent using the same methods of assessment. Utilizing formative, standards(goal)-based, anecdotal, observational and benchmarks has driven my instructional programs. The combination of different assessments provides me with a multi-dynamic perspective of my students allowing me to better understand their strengths, weakness and academic needs.
It is a viable tool for addressing the maximum participation of the child and can be a catalyst to ensure effective learning. Effective teachers use an array of teaching strategies because there is no single, universal approach that suits all situations. Different strategies used in different combinations with different groupings of students will improve learning outcomes. Some strategies are better suited to teaching skills and fields of knowledge than others. Some strategies are better suited to certain student backgrounds, learning styles and
Homeschooling is an educational option that allows parents to teach their children at home instead of sending them to public schools. It is held that "homeschooled children now number 1.2 million in the United States and the number is steadily growing" (Farris, 1997, p. 4). Ray (cited in Mirochinck & McIntyre, 1991). Some Parents believe that sending their children to public schools in which qualified teachers are responsible for educating them is beneficial .However, other parents believe that it is better for their children to be educated at home by people who know their needs. In this paper, I intend to argue with educating children at home.
Introduction It is very important to study about the development of the human. Because it provides framework to think about human growth, their mental development, and the most important one, ‘their learning’. As a teacher it is very important to study about these theories. Because it have a close relationship with the development of the students and their learning behavior (Michael, 2012) .
t is extremely important to have the support of parents and carers in a school, they are a valuable resource .The parents and primary carers will always be associated with being the child’s first educators and being the people who know their children best. Other people may disagree. Parents and carers see their children at their best and worse, they will know most things about them this information can then be passed on to the school this will enable them to react and support the child /young person . it is effectively working as a partnership with the school and will benefit the child and young person.
(1) Develop a strategy to enhance a high degree of collective efficacy among the new teachers and indifferents. What mastery experiences are needed, and how will you get them for your teachers? What kinds of models or other vicarious experiences should your teachers have, and where will they get them? What kind of activities will be useful to persuade teachers that they can improve the proficiency of their students? What kind of affective state is needed in your school to develop the collective efficacy that you need?
Pupils do not all learn the same technique or method. That is why it is important to have many methods of teaching in the classroom. In order for a student to understand. Culture and Diversity in Classrooms Today As more students from diverse backgrounds populate 21st century classrooms, learning has shifted towards another direction. Today’s
The paper reflects on my experience during the teaching practicum. Initially, it analyses the strategies my Mentor Teacher (MT) adopted in her teaching and interaction with the students. Additionally, it analyses the techniques I employed to motivate, monitor, and manage students during my teaching practice. Finally, it discusses how I will improve my teaching in terms of instructional strategies, classroom interaction, objectives-activities-assessments alignment, and classroom management.
It is true a partnership providing two way information flow from the teacher to the parents about the child’s classroom achievements and persona and from the parent to the teacher about the complementary elements in the home environment. It provides the mechanism
As a teacher, it is my responsibility to share information on the development of the child and have a clear and constant flow of dialogue with the family. This will enable both parties to deal with any issues that may arise within the family, school or community. It also my belief that parents should have an active part in their child’s learning and be able to lend a hand whenever necessary, and having open communication with them will allow this transparency and connection between home and school. The community is vital in ensuring that the facilities around the community and school is appropriate for the different children and families to live in and grow. A very good example of this successful collaboration is the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy.
Therefore, students need to be helped perform at their level of ability in order to succeed. Building a strong parent-teacher relationship will benefit the three participants; the parent, the teacher and most importantly, the child him/herself (Holdaway, 1979). Continuous contact and help from the parents will help the educator relate his/her classroom environment with what the students experience within their home environment. Therefore, this puts the responsibility on all the adults present in the child’s life to ensure that the experiences that the child is facing are helping him/her extend his/her learning achievement (Dombro,
Schools are the second place after home where students’ behavior and future educational success are shaped. At schools there are many elements or factors that can influence the teaching and learning process that may take place. Rasyid (2012) stated that there are four perennial truths that make the teaching and learning process possible to take place in the classroom. If one of these is not available, there will be no teaching and learning process, though the learning process itself may still take place, they are: (1) Teacher, (2) Students, (3) Material and (4) Context of time and place. All of them are related to one another.
Although the lesson plan’s primary objective is to improve the overall quality of teaching to benefit students, this also improves teacher motivation and development. This is achieved through using the lesson plan as a permanent record of lessons taught. In the case where the lesson has been
Teachers have to use different pedagogical approaches. They should participate actively in their learning and to assist professional development. The
