The tree man of India Daripalli Ramaiah
“Plant tree save life” this famous quote uttered by more or less each and every political leaders, social worker and common people of India but hardly a few people transformed this quote into an action because nobody as such is bothered about the environment, but this uneducated Indian Daripalli Ramaiah the man who believes in action rather than lecturing people about the importance of planting trees. This man who truly recognised the need for planting trees to save our environment is desperately planting saplings in each and every vacant ground he passes by, he is a simple man with high thinking who is trying hard to make our environment pollution free and trying to improve lifestyle of the people.
We all are aware with the fact that nowadays cutting tree is becoming

But nobody took this initiative before Ramaiah sir, today inspired by him many people all over our country is giving importance of planting trees. Sixty eight years old Rmaiah along with his better half Janamma selflessly planting huge number of trees in order to protect our environment from becoming polluted they not only planted the trees but also took great care in bringing them up, people calls Ramaiah as ‘Vanajeevi’ as he is the man who truly loves nature and is aware about its importance for makind. His main mission is to grow plant especially the bio diesel plants, and shaddy trees such as neem, mango, and biodiesel plants like pongamia in his native village Khamman and its nearby districts, it is been said that till date he is successful in planting more than one crore plantlet and
Plants and soils store carbon, keeping it from the atmosphere, where it would contribute to climate change.” In order to solve the issues with wildlife and habitats, we need to protect and preserve the environment around of us, and think about the other things living on this earth. By doing this, we all can work together to make sure our planet maintains and restores the natural balance that all living things need to survive. David Suzuki has had many accomplishments, for example, he was awarded the rank of Companion in the Order of Canada in 2006. He was also given a Right livelihood Award in 2009, as well as being presented with the George Woodcock lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.
His writings were what pulled people into action. "Any fool can destroy trees. They cannot run away; and if they could, they would still be destroyed -- chased and hunted down as long as fun or a dollar could be got out of their bark hides, branching horns, or magnificent bole backbones... Through all the wonderful, eventful centuries since Christ 's time -- and long before that -- God has cared for these trees... but he cannot save them from fools -- only Uncle Sam can do that." (John Muir, American Forests.)
David Suzuki is an award-winning Canadian scientist, environmentalist and science broadcaster. Since the start of his career, he has made a difference in both Canadian society and the world by immeasurably improving the lives of others. He has been actively contributing to improve the environment and to spread awareness to the world of the negative consequences it can face if the environmental issues were to be ignored. And as an effort to improve the environment and being an activist to promote the idea of an eco-friendly and sustainable world, he has spent a majority of his career broadcasting and documenting many programs that reinforce the same idea, and has also established The David Suzuki foundation in 1991. He is the Greatest Canadian
Everybody Needs a Thneed. Trees are What Everyone Needs. The Lorax video provides an important example of a market failure that resonates today. External effects indicate that the social cost of the environment and animals was greater than the private costs.
Deforestation is still an unbeleafable issue even to this day. With our trees being cut down to make supplies and furniture, we struggle with keeping our ratio of trees being destroyed and trees being planted equal. It seems like that was also the case in the past. There was a significant amount of trees being cut down in 1920, the land looking much more barren than it did in 1650 (Document A, map). These trees, some of them taking more than three thousand years to rise tall, are being cut down.
Penned by Michael Pollan in 2008 Why Bother was written in response to Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. This essay covers what many Americans were thinking at this time, why bother? If we changed every aspect of our lives in order to save the Earth, would it really fix or undo anything? In his essay, Pollan relies heavily on Ethos and Kairos to fulfil his argument being that with one easy life change it could cause a chain reaction that influences other behaviors resulting in a reduction of our individual carbon footprints. This easy life change that Pollan proposes is gardening.
The government has passed many conservation policies to protect animals, eco-systems, plants and trees itself and indigenous people’s way of life, but many of these policies get overlooked and require a lot of extra work. How it affects the rest of the world- This action is permanent, and all of the world is targeted as a potential setting for deforestation. It is predicted that the continuing action may result in very few rainforest across the entire globe. Cutting trees can also be harmful to our ozone layer, which protects earth from dangerous radiation.
According to the report from PNAS, about 58 million big trees are under threat of dying (Woollaston). Some homeowners cultivate
The “living Tree” approach versus strict construction is another important aspect of the major terms and conditions set in the constitution act (1867). Canada has a “living tree” approach when it refers to the legal system we have in Canada. The Judical Committee of the Privy Council once stated that “The British North America Act planted in Canada a living tree capable of growth and expansion within its natural limits” (McCormack & Bueckert, 2013). In Canada we have a very democratic way of seeing and applying our decisions on different political views. Whether it’s voting in elections to elect new MP, elect a new Prime Minister or the voting between the political parties in the house of commons when deciding on important issues in our society, a decision is never made without the vote between many people.
Our society as a whole must work to preserve all the ‘Good Oaks’ in the environment for future

According to Dr. Lalvani, under British rule, endangered species were protected and national parks were opened. Yet in reality, forests were logged and turned into farms for cash crops like indigo, cotton and tobacco. Resulting in higher temperatures, increased salt content in the soil making it harder to grow crops and reducing the amount of available water (Document 6). National parks are meant to save and protect both the land and animals living there. Logging those forests for the purpose of cash crops didn’t follow these two very simple guidelines.
Pinchot stated that “to be a good forester you must be a good citizen”. By being able to connect socially and politically Pinchot was able to push his agenda to improve environmental
It would therefore be more realistic to encourage all parties involved in the process of deforestation to manage the resources of the forest in a sustainable way. This means that the usage of the methods of clear-cutting and burning would have to be eliminated if the forest ecosystem is to be able to remain intact. If certain trees need to be cut down, however, then theses should be replaced by enough young trees which can fill the same role to an equal extent as the ones which are cut down. Here it’s important to acknowledge that it’s impossible to eliminate deforestation completely since the growing population puts a high demand for more land which is used for agricultural purposes. Therefore the solution must include keeping a balance between deforestation and efforts of reforestation, sustainable management of forests and respecting the integrity of protected
Without the transpiration of trees, deforested areas become drier. Changes in weather and shelter cause deforested areas to undergo a tremendous loss of biodiversity. The scientist hasn’t even come close to testing 1% of the plants in the tropical rainforests for medicinal use, but they regularly discover species that are helpful to us the people. But, these forests and their potential benefits are looking like they may disappear by the end of this century if we don’t stop
