The Quality Assurance Service (QAS) program, established by NASBA in 1998, provides assistance to State Boards and their licensees through its approval of the highest quality CPE providers of self study courses. A quality system is defined as the organizational structure, responsibilities, processes, procedures and resources for implementing quality management. Quality assurance, on the other hand, is focused on providing confidence that quality requirements are fulfilled. Quality assurance is the responsibility of the quality assurance department. It is unique because it has a 3 model sets: ISO 9001, ISO 9002, and ISO 9003. Also, involves organizational structure, processes, and documented procedures constituted towards achieving quality objectives.

You should be concerned in Quality Assurance because it is focused on providing confidence that quality requirements are fulfilled. As related to clinical trials, it includes all those planned and systemic actions that are established to ensure that the trial is performed and the data are generated, documented (recorded), and reported in compliance with GCP and the applicable regulatory requirements.

The status of Quality Assurance System in the Philippines or in Iligan City is not so high, because not all of the people living in the Philippines/Iligan City already know that system.
