I have choose this topic because I didn’t know about recycling and a lot of people are not aware of the important of recycling. Personally I am a person who didn’t care about recycling and ignored the fact that recycling is important thing. But after having knowledge and learned about the important of recycling and how it will affect our world, society, environment and economy. I have changed to a person who recycle and aware of the important of recycling.

The first step is very important because it starts with gathering recyclable waste. Common citizens can make this step easier and more cost-effective by dumping different types of recyclable waste into respective trash bins; thus, the sorting stage on the recycling plant can take less time and energy. The processing stage involves turning back gathered, sorted, and cleaned waste into a raw material condition. Landfills not only occupy large territories but also are a serious threat for land, water, and air contamination. A small battery can pollute the soil with harmful chemicals for years. Recycling is the only way to reduce the negative impact of waste in landfills as it decreases the percentage of greenhouse gasses.
