Many school systems have become breeding grounds for many discussions over the years. Some of those teaching of religion course, freedom of uniform and detection of weekly course hours. The issue of religion in schools poses many questions, but there are no clear cut answers. People’s opinions on this matter are not likely to change anytime soon, making this an issue that is going to be around for a while. Religion is an individual choice, that no-one can change other then themselves. There are two opposing points of view about teaching of religion in schools. Some researchers claim that religion should be taught in the home, not at the school. Schools have no option over whether religious instruction is delivered. On the other hand, some researchers claim that religion should be placed in a school curriculum. Students need to understand religions to help them respect and appreciate each other and to help this world resolve difficult conflicts. Although there are some different approaches on this topic, teaching of religion. Not even the parents should have a right to dictate what should be the beliefs or religion of their children.
